Prep - Yes, 24 hours prep. In that time, they make a maximum of 1 device for their team, and the rest of the time is for strategy. Device has to be something they've created before.
No Knowledge on opponents team.
Morals On
Bloodlust Off
BFR Disabled
Start 120 meters apart
Standard Equipment
Perks:
You may choose one of the following perks:
"I have full knowledge!" - Your team gets full knowledge on your opponent's team.
"Extended Prep Time" - Your team gets 12 hours, and can create 1 more device. Device must be something they've created before.
"What? Morals?" - Morals are off for your team, and Bloodlust is On"
FTR, I am using a Pre-Crisis Doc Destiny and Classic Doom, even though I don't think it matters with Doom, hasn't really changed much.
Prep
With full knowledge, Doom creates mini Psionic Refractors (Below) (It can pretty much put any mental attack back at the person who summoned it.)
Even though, John would most likely not use his TP, as it is a morals on encounter.
Anyway, this project should only be being done by Doom, so that leaves Doc Destiny, Dazzler, Daken, and Fate to stratigize.
They decide that Doc Destiny and Dr.Fate will go after Majestic and Manhunter, while Dazzler and Daken to take on Spider-Man and Blue Beetle.
Leaving Doom to deal with Black Adam.
If one of them gets taken down, they will all retreat to let Fate heal that person (Displayed below) (Praying it isnt Fate who is hurt), an set up a defense barrier with Daken's pheromones.
__________
Battle
Doctor Destiny and Dr.Fate vs Martian Manhunter and Mister Majestic
To get Manhunter out of the way, Destiny creates a false reality that he is being burned by flames, psychic flames (I've heard that he is still scared of those, correct me if I am mistaken).
With Manhunter most likely freaking out, throwing punches all around the place.
They then will have to deal with Majestic, with Fate's phasing, he should be able to evade Majestic's attacks, and use his transmutation like abilities (Displayed below, fighting skills also displayed, no.1) to annoy Majestic, Doctor Destiny will be able to plant a illusion that Majastrate is alive and there in the middle of the battlefield, and trap him so that he thinks that it is an actual reality.
no.1
Daken and Dazzler vs Spider-Man & Blue Beetle
I think this would be interesting.
Pheromones should give my team the win.
Spider-Man has already once before been in a fight with Daken, and even though he was defeated, it was usage of the battlefield that gave him the win.
Daken could use his pheromones to make Spidey disoriented, and with Daken's speed, it will be his downfall, a simple claw to the stomach will do.
With Daken's help, Dazzler can beat Blue Beetle.
Her light beams are powerful enough to knock back Juggernaut....far.
This should at the very least daze him.
Now, I always wondered if Daken's pheromones can affect people in armor, if they can, then he makes Beetle tired, he will have a hard time trying to fight when he is..well tired.
If not, then Dazzler....well...improvises.
Yes, that is a tank..
I'll do Doom and Adam later, been on he computer for too long.
Can I use my prep to get equipment I already have? For example, can Majestic retrieve his Creation Blades and Spidey use one of his armors, that sort of thing?

Duly noted.
With full knowledge, Doom creates mini Psionic Refractors (Below) (It can pretty much put any mental attack back at the person who summoned it.)
Are there any other showing of the refractor? In the scan it reflects a Psi-Bolt, which isn't something Manhunter really uses. Would it deflect mindreading or more passive psionic attacks?
Even though, John would most likely not use his TP, as it is a morals on encounter.
J'onn uses his telepathy plenty in-character, but I have the morals off perk here, anyway.
If one of them gets taken down, they will all retreat to let Fate heal that person (Displayed below) (Praying it isnt Fate who is hurt), an set up a defense barrier with Daken's pheromones.
Pheromones won't be of much use against anyone except for Spider-Man. Blue Beetle has filtered airborne toxins before, (I think), and I'm sure the Scarab could just whip out a gasmask of some sort. Also, the Scarab can just take over if Jaime is somehow incapacitated/disoriented, so pheromones won't do much against him. The others can all fly in space, meaning they can hold their breath for ridiculous amounts of time.
To get Manhunter out of the way, Destiny creates a false reality that he is being burned by flames, psychic flames (I've heard that he is still scared of those, correct me if I am mistaken).
Scans:
The context is, he just had his heart broken by the same woman who helped him overcome his fear, hence the "flames of Passion" comment. So can he be affected by psychic flames? I tend to say no, he's just using them as a metaphor for strong emotions causing pain. But I'm a bit of a MM fanboy, so I could be wrong.
But regardless, what kind of reaction time does Doc Destiny have? Martian Manhunter is, at the very least, near light-speed in his combat abilities. J'onn has gone toe-to-toe with a bloodlusted Flash, which is just about the best speed feat someone can have.
Combine that with his telepathic powers, which activate as fast as he can think, and Doc Destiny should have a hard time not getting blitzed, especially since Doom is the only one with a refractor, seeing as you can only create one device during prep.
Again, what are Fate's reaction feats like? Because Majestic has plenty of feats that put him in the light-speed ballpark. His reaction time is confirmed to be in the nanoseconds, and he has no qualms about killing even if his morals weren't off.
He doesn't even need to fly over and obliterate Destiny physically, though, he can destroy him instantly with his heat vision.
Even on the off-chance that Destiny can trap him in an illusion, Majestros will prove to be a difficult opponent. He can sense changes in reality, so he won't be convinced by the illusion, and he has the know-how and the ability to create a machine to bring him back. He's already created a machine to catapult himself back to his home reality, and it only took him seconds to build something that had never been invented before. So he should have no trouble escaping from any false reality Destiny tries to create.
This is assuming that the illusion doesn't break when he discovers it, which is what happens when he realizes he's trapped in a time loop. As soon as he's aware of the loop, he's able to bypass it and approach the girl. Can you clarify how Destiny's powers work? Do they still affect someone if they realize the reality he's projecting is a false one?
Spider-Man has already once before been in a fight with Daken, and even though he was defeated, it was usage of the battlefield that gave him the win.Daken could use his pheromones to make Spidey disoriented, and with Daken's speed, it will be his downfall, a simple claw to the stomach will do.
Once Spidey realized the pheromones were affecting him and decided to rely on his Spider-Sense, he pretty much owned Daken. Since he already knows about pheromones here, he won't hesitate to use the same strategy. He also has his Way of the Spider martial arts training, which makes him a far superior combatant than he was at the time he fought Daken. And he also has no reason not to simply web Daken up and be done with it, like he's done to Wolverine. Added to this, without morals he won't be holding back like he usually does. Spidey has far too many advantages compared to their first encounter, a fight which he won even then. There's really no reason for Daken to win this match-up.
According to your strategy, Doom will be fighting Black Adam. This is unfortunate for your team for a couple of reasons. One, he's the only one with the psionic refractor, and he's not fighting Martian Manhunter. So there's no reason for J'onn not to unleash his telepathy on the people he's fighting. And two, Doom doesn't do well against high-level bricks. Sentry dominated him. Twice.
Morals Off Black Adam will just smoosh him.
I didn't address Blue Beetle and Dazzler, but I'll get to them. I also want Floopay's clarification on prep, and then I'll elaborate a little more.

Blue Beetle has taken hits from everyone from Lobo Bart Allen to Green Lantern. He's tanked lightning, magic, the heat from a rocket launch, energy blasts, and even a nuke. Added to this, he's fast enough to outrace missiles and has dodged energy blasts before, so he can dodge most of her attacks.
Now, I always wondered if Daken's pheromones can affect people in armor, if they can, then he makes Beetle tired, he will have a hard time trying to fight when he is..well tired.
Has Daken ever used his pheromones to create that particular effect? Just curious. I can't find any instances of Jamie going up against airborne toxins, so this might be effective. One would assume that the Scarab could create a gasmask of some sort, but it's never needed to do so, which means I can't really make that argument. However, even if they do effect Jamie, it won't matter. If he's hindered or incapacitated for any reason, the Scarab can take over and fight back with maximum force.
If not, then Dazzler....well...improvises. Yes, that is a tank.
Again, BB has tanked a nuke. The tank really can't compare. When it comes to offensive power, Jamie has nukes of his own, and even claims to be a planet-destroyer. He's tangled effectively with Green Lanterns and all sorts of superpowered foes, and demonstrated plenty of power to smash Dazzler.
Can I use my prep to get equipment I already have? For example, can Majestic retrieve his Creation Blades and Spidey use his Ends of the Earth armor, that sort of thing?

No, I don't believe so at least, but I think that Doom being the creator, it'd be able to do so, it would almost be illogical for him to not make it be able to do so.
If one of them gets taken down, they will all retreat to let Fate heal that person (Displayed below) (Praying it isnt Fate who is hurt), an set up a defense barrier with Daken's pheromones.

I see, didnt know that Jamie/The Scarab could do that.
But regardless, what kind of reaction time does Doc Destiny have?
Well, he was able to take on the JL before, so it should be exceptionally good.
especially since Doom is the only one with a refractor, seeing as you can only create one device during prep.
Now that was just me being stupid.

To be completely honest, average, but IIRC, he has some pretty decent sheilds.
I will try to find scans.
Can you clarify how Destiny's powers work? Do they still affect someone if they realize the reality he's projecting is a false one?
Short on time, so just going to explain it as best as possible.
He can pretty much create illusions, but in his dreams, and with a device, he can transmit them to the real world, as real things.
Never really understood it that well.
The second question is a yes I believe.
And he also has no reason not to simply web Daken up and be done with it, like he's done to Wolverine.
Daken is significantly faster than Wolverine, he is like Albert Wesker, so fast you think that he is teleporting.
I don't think that Peter has actually dealt with anyone that can move at that speed.
So there's no reason for J'onn not to unleash his telepathy on the people he's fighting.
Doom, Daken, and Date all have TP or TP resistance.
Doc Destiny has fought MM before.
The only one affected would be Dazzler.
One, he's the only one with the psionic refractor
Thinking about it, I dont remember me ever clarifying that I'd give it to Doom, my mistake.
I think that Dazzler would have it, to be safe.
Doom doesn't do well against high-level bricks. Sentry dominated him. Twice.
Sure, but this is Sentry, the guy who can pretty much destroy most of the Avengers and X-Men if he was p'd off.
Surviving is a feat in itself.
Added to this, he's fast enough to outrace missiles and has dodged energy blasts before, so he can dodge most of her attacks.
I was actually not aware of that, noted.
As you can see, I am not that familiar with Jamie.
Has Daken ever used his pheromones to create that particular effect?
No, it just seems like Daken would be able to do it.
One would assume that the Scarab could create a gasmask of some sort, but it's never needed to do so, which means I can't really make that argument.
It is perfectly logical to assume that an alien artifact that can do almost anything can create a gasmask :)
If he's hindered or incapacitated for any reason, the Scarab can take over and fight back with maximum force.
Which would be good for Daken, anger somewhat motivates him..
Even if he/it was able to kill Dazzler, she would keep coming back to life.
Can I use my prep to get equipment I already have? For example, can Majestic retrieve his Creation Blades and Spidey use his Ends of the Earth armor, that sort of thing?
No, because then this whole thing turns into which character had the most broken piece of equipment at some point throughout comic book history.
With my prep, can I have Spider-Man and Mister Majestic make the Iron Spider suit? Pete didn't actually make it, but he knows it pretty intimately, since he modified it a bunch to remove some of Tony's hidden surprises. With Majestic's abilities, I don't see them having any problems recreating it.
To be completely honest, average, but IIRC, he has some pretty decent sheilds.
There'a a difference between "pretty decent' and Majestic Level. This is the guy who has the strength to move Jupiter around, and he's going to be blitzing at light speed. The strongest durability an incarnation of Fate has is roughly Superman-level, and Majestic could destroy Superman without breaking a sweat.
He can pretty much create illusions, but in his dreams, and with a device, he can transmit them to the real world, as real things.
So essentially he moves people to a different reality. Since that's the case, I stand by my showings of Majestic moving between realities with tech.
Daken is significantly faster than Wolverine, he is like Albert Wesker, so fast you think that he is teleporting.
Daken's disappearing trick is a point of some contention. There are people who believe that it's because of super speed, but I don't see that making sense. Wolverine has tagged speedsters before, yet Daken is so fast that Logan can't even perceive him? That's not consistent with any of Daken's other showings. Other people claim it's a pheromone-based ability, but that doesn't work because a) Daken could do it before he could control his pheromones and b) it worked on Wolverine, who's immune to pheromones. The best explanation I've seen is that it's based on stealth, which Daken has enough skill with that it's plausible. Add to this that Daken has said that he has no superspeed, and I'm inclined to believe that it's stealth-based.
I don't think that Peter has actually dealt with anyone that can move at that speed.
Not only has Parker tagged speedsters, he's fought Daken already. In fact, his spider-sense let him dodge the disappearing trick at the start of the fight. "I blink and there he is. No sound, no warning, no nothing." Sounds like the disappearing trick to me, and Spidey dodged it.
Doom, Daken, and Date all have TP or TP resistance. Doc Destiny has fought MM before. The only one affected would be Dazzler.
There's a difference between TP resistance and Martian-Manhunter-Proof. J'onn is one of the most powerful telepaths in comics, with feats like bypassing green and white Martians' TP shields and even breaking through Mageddon's TP blockers. He's one-shotted Maxima and cast an illusion over Aquaman. He makes a habit of bypassing TP resistance, so he should be ble to take down at least one of them with his TP.
Thinking about it, I dont remember me ever clarifying that I'd give it to Doom, my mistake. I think that Dazzler would have it, to be safe.
No problem. Probably a good plan.
Sure, but this is Sentry, the guy who can pretty much destroy most of the Avengers and X-Men if he was p'd off. Surviving is a feat in itself.
Sentry is pretty widely regarded to be below Superman level. Most of the Avengers and X-Men are street level. Sentry has no feats to put him on Black Adam's level, even with Void. And Void wasn't in play when Sentry broke Doom. Both times. So Black Adam should have no problem doing the same.
Which would be good for Daken, anger somewhat motivates him.
It doesn't matter how motivated he is, he can't survive a nuke. Jamie has multiple available. Daken, much as I love him, is totally outclassed by Jamie.
Even if he/it was able to kill Dazzler, she would keep coming back to life.
Can Dazzler regenerate from having her molecules vaporized and scattered? Because Jamie can hit her with anything up to a planet-buster. And temporary death would at least count as a KO, and since only BFR is disabled, that's a legal way to win.
To be completely honest, average, but IIRC, he has some pretty decent sheilds.

Yeah, not at Majestic level.
He can pretty much create illusions, but in his dreams, and with a device, he can transmit them to the real world, as real things.

When talking about Daken and Logan, you can pretty much knock previous feats out the wind, Wolverine also cant smell Daken, yet he can spot invisible ninjas.
Daken is like Wolverine's Achilles heel.
He did fall for it the second time.
Spidey somewhat admits that his speed trumps him a little.
Doom, Daken, and Date all have TP or TP resistance. Doc Destiny has fought MM before. The only one affected would be Dazzler.

That I can't rebut, as it would be unrealistic for him to not be able to do so.
Agreed.

TBH, Sentry didnt really dominate Doom in the first 2 scans, he ripped off Doom's mask, may have traumatized him a bit, but nothing serious.
Which would be good for Daken, anger somewhat motivates him.
It doesn't matter how motivated he is, he can't survive a nuke. Jamie has multiple available. Daken, much as I love him, is totally outclassed by Jamie.
Even with Morals Off, would Jamie really be dumb enough to set off a nuke?
It'd surely kill Spidey, maybe himself, and possibly Manhunter.
Unless you just mean that some of his firepower is equal to the power of a nuke, then I see, but he was able to heal from things that would cause the same affects..
A couple scans later..
Well, I think it was said that it was magical in nature, so she might be able to.
Yes, but it doesnt matter which reality he is in, Destiny can get to him.
My point is that if he tosses Majestic into another reality, he can't keep him there. Majestros can return almost immediately and continue pounding Destiny into submission.
When talking about Daken and Logan, you can pretty much knock previous feats out the wind, Wolverine also cant smell Daken, yet he can spot invisible ninjas. Daken is like Wolverine's Achilles heel.
Wolverine is literally immune to Daken's pheromone manipulation. Daken tried to calm him down. It didn't work. At all. Scan:
And Daken uses his pheromones to mask his scent, which is why Wolvie can't smell him. I'm pretty sure he explained it to someone once, although I can't remember who.
He did fall for it the second time.
Only after Daken's pheromones had affected him, as shown by the green bubbles. Since I made the Iron Spider suit with my prep, Parker has a gas mask built in to filter out airborne toxins and the like. So pheromones won't work, and Spidey can use his spider-sense and superior speed to get the victory.
Spidey somewhat admits that his speed trumps him a little.
This is a contradiction of Daken telling Deadpool that he has no superhuman speed. Personally, I'm inclined to agree with Spidey and assume that Daken has roughly Wolverine-level speed, mostly due to the way he can keep up with opponents like Spider-Man and Wolverine. It's something that different people have different opinions about. Either way, though, he's not as fast as Spider-Man.
TBH, Sentry didnt really dominate Doom in the first 2 scans, he ripped off Doom's mask, may have traumatized him a bit, but nothing serious.
Only because his intent was to arrest Doom, not to kill him. He ripped straight through Doom's defenses with ease, and seemed totally unaffected even by Doom's magic. He could have killed Victor if he wanted to.
He probably wouldn't use an actual nuke, because the area of effect is so large. But he has far more power than Daken can realistically counter. Daken's HF is very good, don't get me wrong, but the Scarab was meant to kill Green Lanterns. Without Jamie's morals holding it back, it has power several orders of magnitude greater than Daken's.
Yes, but it doesnt matter which reality he is in, Destiny can get to him.
My point is that if he tosses Majestic into another reality, he can't keep him there. Majestros can return almost immediately and continue pounding Destiny into submission.
Destiny is most useful when sleep, so..

If Wolverine is immune, then how can Daken not be sensed by Wolverine if he uses his pheromones to cover up his scent?
He did fall for it the second time.
Only after Daken's pheromones had affected him, as shown by the green bubbles. Since I made the Iron Spider suit with my prep, Parker has a gas mask built in to filter out airborne toxins and the like. I am still thinking that speed goes to Daken, I mean, how did he actually cut Wolverine up when they were looking right at each other.
And even if it was stealth, that would mean that Daken can easily move faster than the human/genetically engineered mutant eye can comprehend.
I have to beg to differ, and go with Daken has the Albert Wesker thing going on.
That, I agree with.

Daken isn't realistic, dude regenerated from being turned into ash.
KO'd is not the same as asleep, and Destiny is of no use at all when he's dead. Majestic is willing to kill, and he's morals off here, anyway. Heat Vision Lobotomy or Speed Blitz should do for Destiny, I'd think.
If Wolverine is immune, then how can Daken not be sensed by Wolverine if he uses his pheromones to cover up his scent?
Because Daken isn't using them to manipulate Wolverine's perceptions, he's using them to give off the opposite scent of his own, so that they cancel out giving no scent at all.
I am still thinking that speed goes to Daken, I mean, how did he actually cut Wolverine up when they were looking right at each other. And even if it was stealth, that would mean that Daken can easily move faster than the human/genetically engineered mutant eye can comprehend.
Spider-Man has caught bullets, a feat which Daken has nothing to compare with. Other than the disappearing trick, which he himself has described as not using superspeed, he has literally zero travel speed feats. Spider-Man can run at over 60 mph and, as I've already posted, can tag speedsters thanks to his Spider-Sense. I've even posted the scan of him dodging Daken when unaffected by pheromones, so I don't see how Daken can realistically be expected to tag him. When Spider-Man was unaffected by pheromones, and even at the end of their fight when he still was, he's able to tag and dodge Daken. Since he has an air filter here and also has his Way of the Spider training, which makes him far more skilled than he was in his first fight with Daken, I don't see how Daken can really pull out a win here. And this is coming from a Daken fanboy.
I have to beg to differ, and go with Daken has the Albert Wesker thing going on.
And no other speed feats. He has some very, very impressive combat speed and reflexes, but his travel speed has never been shown to even be enhanced except for the possibility of speed allowing him to disappear. I find it far more likely that he uses stealth and deception, a skill which he's consistently demonstrated, to pull it off, rather than speed which he hasn't demonstrated.
Daken isn't realistic, dude regenerated from being turned into ash.
He faked it, I'm afraid. Possessed Wolverine never actually fried him to ashes, the bag of ashes that was recovered wasn't actually all that was left of him. He was still alive and well, just in hiding for a little while.
This tournament is still on btw. I'm just sorting through my inbox/outbox to try and find the thread for this, can't seem to find it though. Once I do I'll start making posts.
I think @Esquire takes this one. Good job to both!
Also Esquire, how are your scans so organized. Every time I upload them, they just stack on each other.
Once you've got them all posted, you can go to "my previous uploads" in the image menu. Then you can simply select all of the images you just uploaded, since they'll be the most recent ones in "all images." When you go to post multiple images at the same time, it gives you the option to either stack them or post them side by side.
