Who wins and why.
Deadpool.
@joygirl: What feats does Vandal Savage have to put him on par with Deadpool? Just wondering because so many people are vouching for him here.

Didn't he beat Flash?
or was that in a cartoon... *furrows brow*
I can't tell cartoons from comics anymore
Oh he roflpwned Huntress but that isn't saying much.
I know he's done a lot of cool stuff but not much comes to mind off the top of my head.
@joygirl: Defeating Flash is already pretty much guaranteed PIS. Huntress I think Deadpool would murder. Vandal has lots of experience but I don't see it that applicable in his feats.

He is a lot tougher than his daughter, who beat Bane....

That isn't to say that Savage would beat Bane though. And IIRC Bane wasn't really fighting Scandal Savage, so it doesn't really count. Also, I'm pretty sure Wade would mop the floor with Scandal with relative ease. On top of that, Deadpool's durability and healing factor (two different things) makes this fight too much for Vandal.
@foreverevil: You know what, from reading up on Savage, I'm kind of on the fence with this one.
On paper, Wade. Feats-wise Vandal.
I think you've got that backwards.
Deadpool.
He's one of my absolute favorite characters, but Vandal Savage is basically a low-level superhuman brick with hardly any notably impressive martial-arts expertise(in the same vein of Ra's Al Ghul and Thor, where' they're basically credited with being masters of hand to hand combat, but show NOTHING of the sort for the most part). Where he really excels is with planning and preparation.
He doesn't have the feats(that I know of) to suggest he could handle Deadpool's finesse, agility, and repeated stabs and swipes from his katannas.
The only attributes I'd say he has over Wade physically is strength and durability, though such traits shouldn't be underestimated, as they've enabled him to shrug off blows from The Flash, manhandle both Wildcats, and casually maintain his composure after being stabbed three times(once on the page before the scans shown by his daughter, Scandal, in the neck with a pair of chop-sticks) and proceed to simply pull the swords out of his own abdomen and ask for a new set of cloths.
I think the primary reason for this suggestion are the comments on all of the Deathstroke vs Deadpool. The main arguments for Deadpool are always him being unpredictable and not being able to die. Mostly not being able to die. For some reason everyone seems to feel Deadpool wins all of his bouts against DC characters because of him being immortal. When there is a match like Cap vs Batman, death does not come into the equation. When it involves DP suddenly it's a deathmatch. All of that being said, the assumptions of years of martial arts and military experience that has been applied to characters like Wolverine should apply to Savage. As far as I understand Savage has claimed several famous historical identities. He has also been shown to be alive and kicking one million years in the future and to have killed an immortal himself. I know that feats are important, but you would think that someone who has lived and ruled since the dawn of time would bring a large amount to the table.
Deadpool stomps. Sure, Savage may have MORE feats, but Deadpool has murdered the entire Marvel universe single handedly. Also, he has a carbonadium sword, which nullifies healing factor. And even if he didn't have that, he has his mouth. He could just talk Savage to death.
Vandal Savage one-shotted or knocked down a sea monster the size of a ship (just assumption) and IIRC he healed a bad big wound in matter of seconds, when he had a fight with Pandora. I don't think Deadpool has the damage output to hurt him nor be able to withstand his blows without getting incapacitated or knocked out. It's rather an easy match for Vandal Savage.
@nathaniel_adam: This'd be Pre-New 52 Savage(given the time the thread was made).
I'd say Vandal Savage ultimately wins considering his healing factor is far more useful than Deadpool's. Also, he still has knowledge of the occult, which he has underwent training for centuries so he could bfr or outright end Deadpool's lifespan with minor troubles!
