Walter Cronkite could take Kain even not as a vampire. He'd just be like "In the news today..." and Kain would run like heck. Seriously, do not play around with Cronkite.
Maybe if you read more comic books you too would understand what a powerful and amazing super hero he is.

Not real familiar with Bloodrayne, but Elder Kain would be able to completely smoke Morbius with just his physical stats.
Blade would put up a better fight, but adding in Kain's magical abilities, Blade could not contend without some serious prep and help from somebody with major magic juice.
