@jashro44: Vamp has never lost his head, but if he did, I picture a similar scenario to when Ultimate Wolverine was decapitated. He was still conscious and could even talk etc, the only thing is... he was just a head.
In official lore, Vamp's entire thing is that he is "deathless." Like I said, only immediately lethal attacks faze him in anyway (a bullet to the head for example) but things like a snapped neck, sliced throat, or getting his entire torso littered with bullets don't put him down. He doesn't even need to breath anymore. That's why I picture him still being conscious if he was decapitated. Now that I think about it, the same probably applies to Kraven. When characters like Wolverine and Deadpool lose their heads, they are effectively dead, and are technically revived once their head is put back on. Since only Spider-Man can kill Kraven, I don't see a lost head putting him out of commission.
As for who would win, it's still a toss up. I think Vamp has more close quarters skill considering his agility and flexibility, but Kraven's skill with his gear is insane. In terms of who would lose their head first, I see Vamp as more likely to try and cut somebody's head off. Kraven might get an incap win if he snags Vamp with a net, but honestly I don't see how someone who specializes with knives is getting caught in a net.
