U.S.Agent vs Thing
U.S.Agent has his Vibranium suit & Vibranium shield, and is at his Peak level/showings.
Thing is in his Current form/level.
Battle is to the KO, Submission, or Death. No BFR!
Morals... either way.
Takes place in the Baxter Building Lobby.
Who takes this battle of "Tough Guys?"
Yeah I think Ben has got this one. U.S. Agent is no joke. but I don't think he's over the 10 mark in terms of strength, and while he's quicker, I don't think he's a better fighter than Ben (thought they are probably pretty close int erms of fighting skills) I think with the armor and shield he'll put up a good fight, but I think Thing has it all over this fight.
Am I the only one who thinks that John Walker has atleast "some" chance here? He's like Captain America on steroids, with Vibranium armor and not as reserved in his actions as Cap is. His strength is like 8 - 9 times Cap's too!
U.S.Agent has 5+ ton strength. Cap maxed out at 1,150 lbs I believe, bench pressing.
Cap trained John Walker in his highly effective fighting style, well enough to where they stalemate.
If Cap were 8 - 9 times stronger and had Vibranium armor, everone here would argue that he could take Thing. So why not U.S.Agent?
Lastly, I like Ben Grimm more than John Walker, but here I think U.S.Agent has a better shot at a KO than people are giving him credit for.
John Walker aka U.S.Agent ftw, atleast 3+/10?
Lol, I guess it's just us two then.
Agent, like you said, was trained by Cap and if they arent equal in skill they are pretty darn close, though feats may not support that (and feats are a big deal in battle threads, so...). That and his armor/shield combo would lead me to think he could get at least 2 out of 10. He would have to be at the absolute top of his game though to do it...
U.S Agent is class 10...not class 5.He also wasn't trained by Cap he was trained by Taskmaster." Am I the only one who thinks that John Walker has atleast "some" chance here? Does he have feats to prove himself as a ten tonner?and is'nt it 2-10 tons?

I see.
Agent has a decent Chance , I'm not sure who'd win .
He's had extensive training from Taskmaster so he could fight exactly like Steve .
He's 10 tons (although thats argueable but I'll say 10) so a sheild weilded by him is capable of hurting the thing very badly , He could definetly chip parts of him away , and Thing has no chance at dodging , he's unagile and slow , not to mention huge .
Ben is a lot stronger however , he could potentially one shot him , however in his Vibranium suit i can't see Thing one shotting him , and other shots could be blocked by is sheild or dodged , as US Agent is superhumanly fast if i recall correctly.
It's a good fight but for the sake of it I will say , US Agent.
"Ben's strength isn't the problem..his durability is.Characters far stronger than US Agent have trouble keeping Ben down.

"@entropy_aegis: His bio on this site says 5+ tons, last time I checked. "
What his bio says here means nothing at all.

I know , but i thought i should mention his strength as its a pretty big factor for a fighter like Ben , also
I figure the Vibranium armor and shield will essentially nullify Bens attacks and a couple full strength shots to the eyes with the shield spinning backfist style using the edge of the shield followed by 5 or 10 punt kicks to the groin by U.S.Agent will put Ben down.

"@DeathsHead2: US Agent is 10 tons, and he still takes an easy win.... "
Only in theory,he can be anywhere between 2 and 10,not to mention it means nothing at all.it's gonna take a lot more than 10 ton strength to hurt ben.
" @comicdude23 said:"Stop attention whoring.... "US Agent wins easily....

What?
And he can take an easy win, he's too Fast for The Hulk, and his Shield can pierce through The Thing, Blade was shown to be trouble for Ben.

I just checked and you're right, theres no mention of any definite strength levels at all.

hahahaha. Indeed.
Blade was shown to be trouble for Ben. "so you're using something that's OBVIOUSLY not feasible to make a case?

No.
I'm saying The Thing is too slow for US Agent.
And the reason that he had trouble with Blade is beacuse of Speed.
" @Vance Astro said:Speed isn't an issue.US Agent and Blade aren't even on the same level of speed." @comicdude23 said:No. I'm saying The Thing is too slow for US Agent. Elaborate.

US Agent is at about Peak Human Speed, whilst Blade is at low level Super Human Speed, the Speed difference isn't too big.

U.S Agent's speed is superhuman..he's just not as fast as Blade. It's that simple.Blade has easily tagged characters way faster than U.S Agent and kept up with them. That's it..that's all.
