Upgraded Spike Spiegel runs the gauntlet

Now, what is the upgrade, you may ask?

Well, in addition to Spike's own cybernetic eye, amazing Jeet Kune Do skills, and trusty Jericho 941, he now has all of the superhuman powers of Tongpu, the Mad Pierrot! He also has Tongpu's arsenal.

We will give Spike his own feats and those of Tongpu, but we will assume Spike retains his powers without the fear of cats or straight up mental illness Tongpu possessed.

Basically, think of this Spike as a successful test subject of the scientists who empowered Tongpu.

Round 1: Nightwing (new 52)

Round 2: Hei (Darker than Black; manga and anime feats apply; no Meteor Fragment)

Round 3: Batman Beyond (Terry; all comic and animated series feats apply)

Round 4: Ultimate Captain America (just the shield; no guns)

Round 5: Korra (no Avatar State; circa book 3)

Round 6: Bloodlusted Spider-Man (616 Peter Parker pre-The Other)

Bonus Round: Naruto Uzumaki (part 1; One Tailed form; no summons)

I know the gauntlet is probably out of order, but I really did try to organize it logically. Spike is healed in between each round. Every character, including Spike, is in character and has standard equipment unless otherwise stated. All fights take place in vacant Manhattan, and there is no BFR allowed. Spike starts off 100 feet away from his opponents in each round.

Does he clear?

Probably stops at 3.

It's a good gauntlet, it's just that it really doesn't add to the versatility of Spike's powers, other than making him fly and giving him super-durability. Batman could probably find a way to disable Spike.

@mayan_fist: Oh.. I thought he got enhanced strength, speed, a bigger arsenal and telekinetic force field too.

The Cowboy Bebop wiki is rather inaccurate, I presume. Either that or my memory betrays me.

Well, the super strength and speed was a result of his ability to control gravity. As for the force field, Batman could find a workaround, perhaps using a chemical.

It would've been cool to see what Spike could accomplish with Tongpu's perfected powers, but I personally wanted to see a match between Vincent and Ed's dad.

Then I'd give it to Space Cowboy. Tongpu had some ridiculously weird powers (that's anime for ya). As long as he's not facing Black Cat, he'll be fine

Idk I stopped watching Naruto a long time ago. I'd give it to Spike cause Cowboy Bebop's my favorite anime
