Nimrod (in his robotic form) was shown to be able to electronically infiltrate and take over other computer systems, so could he take over Ultron's system ?
Additionally, Nimrod also can develop / adapt his systems to create weapons to overcome his opponents. Therfore he might be able to create an energy drain / supression field to stop Ultron in his tracks.

No. He is composed of advanaced metal alloys and ceramics, that provide him with a high level of durability.It takes beings of the strength level of Colossus to really do a lot of damage to him and then of course he can regenerate. "
