@strider92: Dude this is a huge mismatch. Can John even cross Universes? Reed can and sets up bases in universes. He never have to attack John from the same universe. He can Anti Matter bomb John with ease.

He has bases in other dimensions, ways to attack via Bio Bombs and Anti Matter bombs via Vortexes, all thru Sat Cameras and an d other devices with Cameras in the world.
Heck he has a Army called Children of Tommorow. Has a Thor pwning Cyborg called First Knife.
In 24 hours he could build a Cosmic Cube. Red Skull with a third world country did so in 3 days base of Reed's blueprints. Reed himself with his super advance society should whip one up in 24 hours.
Part of me wants to say Consantine could summon some uber-powerful demon or the like to help him, however Constantine is out of his element against a guy like Reed.

@comicstooge: That should not work either. Ultimate Reed has Mapped most of the Marvel Multiverse and Dimensions. He has a Vortex Machine in the N-Zone that allowed him free passage thru the Universes.

@comicstooge: There is no feats of Soul Resistance that I have. Magic is not the biggest thing in Ultimate Verse. Dr. Doom manage to use Magic to switch bodies with Reed. However Reed then learn Magic and Magic Spells shortly after that. Enough to beat the Zombie Verse F4.

@cadencev2: Oh shit, now I know you must've been killing yourself repeatedly like I was when Reed was "defeated" in Ultimate Comics Ultimates #12..........GOD, what a horrible chapter that was; I mean really, Tony's cancer all of a sudden being sentient and Reed letting his emotions get to him all of a sudden when he CLEARLY didn't have a problem not letting them get to him in all his other appearances as an antagonist.
@chillinvillain: I think the fact Tony had insert plot device was a bit too convenient, I also thought Reed being all crazy like that in the end was totally out of character. In Doom arc where Reed became evil, he was so in control and lost to mainly the combine effort of everyone against him as well Reed own holding back on his foes. Yet now he lost to Tony Technopathy Tumor that convince his City to turn on him.
Its whatever. I like how Sue beat him in 1 on 1, that was thought out at least.

You think time magic doesn't exist in D&D? Over and above this he can occupy a different plane of existence, where the passage of time on the prime material plane (where Reed exists) does not matter.

John would just dupe some crusty lord of hell into removing Reed's soul, regardless of what universe Reed's in.
Reed depowers Hell Lord like he did Odin. Easy day. Reed also knows Magic from Dooms Atlantis books. He was able to excorcise a Old One ripped off from Lovercraft as a result.

Just because he doesn't have standard human function doesn't mean he isn't alive. It's not as if he's a zombie or something.
This is one of those really "iffy" things because it comes down to what a person's definition of "alive" is. Ultimate Reed has explained exactly how his powers work; when the accident that gave everyone their powers occurred the original Reed was destroyed and completely recreated as "pliable bacteria stacks" (that's a direct quote). This means that depending on how you classify consciousness and the idea of a soul (or the idea of the soul in the Ultimate Universe, which really hasn't been explored), the REAL Reed actually died and has just been replaced by bacteria that has been masquerading/believing itself to be Reed (something that Reed actually brought up himself before just kind of ignoring the idea and the questions it raised).
This means Ultimate Reed may actually be soulless. However, in the Main Marvel Universe (everything operates differently in different universes, so this probably doesn't have any bearing on things) clones can have souls (this was one of X-23's character arcs, it was flat-our answered in the disappointing "Circle of Four" storyline where X-23 (among others) is actually in Hell and Mephisto informs her that she couldn't be in Hell without a soul (reasonable logic, although Mephisto isn't exactly someone that can be trusted). So, if Clones can have souls and Reed is essentially a recreation of the real Reed made up of some fancy stacks of bacteria then does he count as a clone or does this bacteria not count for some reason and therefore doesn't get a soul?
