Ultimate Matchup: WAR MACHINE vs. GREEN GOBLIN

Ultimate Goblin did not have Oz in Ultimate 6. That was when GG realize he did not need Oz to transform.

Im siding with GG for the incredible Damage Soak and ability to wreck Warmachin in Close Combat like every person who wrecks WM in CC.

What do you think about WM going aerial? Or using ranged weapons like the sonic attacks or his repulsors?

@veshark: actually with straight Range WM put down Tyrone Cash for a good few minuets with a double Repulser Blast.

He would win in range.

If GG can close in he would win. If Rodes blasts him from the start with Range attacks, he would win.

@cadencev2: Would Green Goblin be able to tank War Machine's nuke?

@dondave: Warmachine has a Nuke? Which issue was that? Also Warmachine could put GG down with his Repulsar Blast alone.

@cadencev2: During the Ultimate Avengers Story Arc War Machine or Gregory Stark (I can't rmember who exactly ) mentioned him having one in his armour

@dondave: In F4 and other Ultimate titles with IM armor mention having Nuclear reactors as power source.

Judging by the scan the nuke seems to be a last resort thing.

Yeah, it seems more like a last resort suicidal attack as well, though we don't know if he could fire it like a ranged weapon.

Correct me if i am mistaken, it has been a long time since i have read Ultimate Spiderman. Wasn't Harry Osborn able to stab GG with a large piece of debris? Was that PIS?

@calebhara: Spider Man has 9 toner strength and GG is pierced by Bullets. However his HF tanks most attacks.

@dondave: I assume they meant the Reactor that all IM suits had. Fantastic Four issue with Crimson Dynamo older Iron man Suit had a Nuke Reactor as well other older Iron Man suits had Nuke Reactors that blew up.
