Ultimate Marvel vs Injustice

There are two major fighting games out that feature comic book characters as combatants. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Injustice Gods Among Us. I am a fairly big fan of both, but I am curious about the opinions that Viners have about these two particular games.

1.MVC,because Injustice was MK9 with a DC roster

2.I fell IJ had better representation and MVC didn't have a story mode.

1. Injustice. The competitive aspect of it is awesome.
2. Injustice. Wonder Woman's representation was amazing.
3. Injustice takes it. I can spend hours playing this game.

Also this is not a battle. It belongs in General Discussion. And even if it was a Battle it would be a stomp/spite/mismatch since the MvC3 roster outnumbers the Injustice roster by quite a bit.

I thought this was gunna be some Injustice characters from the comic v.s some ultimate versions of some of the people from the comic..

Injustice. It has a story mode, with great comic tie-ins, Deeper game play; And Capcom really fuked a lot of fans buy releasing Ultimate so soon after the original and not just making it DLC.

So far the Injustice experience has been much friendlier to the fans.

I prefer the original MVC 3 over Ultimate.

Both games I played pro on, but I can't choose, as I like both ways of fighting styles; however I would like to see both games on each other's load out, if that makes sense...

1) Better fighting game:

UMVC3. Besides Marvel vs. Capcom being my 2nd favorite game franchise (Street Fighter is #1), I like the variety in characters and fighting styles, the fast-paced gameplay, the ability to form a team of 3 (can't stress that enough), and the over-the-top visual style and combos.

2) Better representation of characters:

This I will give to Injustice. Because UMVC3 has so many characters, they have to balance it in a way that anyone could be anyone. Phoenix Wright is not beating Dormammu. In Injustice however, even when you're using your best character (say Deathstroke), there is some intimidation when you're facing a character that, from a comic standpoint, you would lose against, especially since they at least made the powerhouses a bit stronger than the normals (i.e., Bat Family). I especially think the moveset is very accurate for each character.

3) Which game do I personally prefer?

Well I kinda answered this already, but UMVC3. Although it lacks astoryline, there's still a lot of content and the gameplay is entertaining enough that I've wasted hours just in practice mode alone.

Umvc3 stomps in all 3. Its the deeper more competitive fighting game that takes skill. Also more popular among fgc. Its does have a story but its not explained as straightforwardly as injustice even tho i found ij quite boring cuz it waa really just mk9 with a dc roster.
