Ultimate manga/comics crossover tournament! R2 Fight 3

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Ultimate super special awesome super-rare chocolatey fudge-coated mega super-multiverse manga/comics crossover tournament!

(it wouldn't fit in the title)

This is something I've wanted to do for a while and even if there is something similar on Comic Vine, I don't care.

Basically, the premise of this tournament is that a character from an american comic/media universe will team up with a character from a manga/anime universe to fight in a tag battle against another team of a character from an american comic/media universe and a character from a manga/anime universe in a 16 bracket tournament.

Why? Because it will be awesome!

Two heroes/anti-heroes are selected from each universe and entered into a random drawing pool. Two-man teams are chosen at random and who they will face first will also be random.

Characters from DBZ will not be a part of this for obvious reasons.

I'm sorry if I did not include characters from a universe you wanted, but I can only go with characters from things I've read or watched. Otherwise I'll choose bad characters.

And if there is also a comedy version of one of the universes mentioned, assume the character is not from that one (looking at you Fullmetal).

The characters are:

From American comics and media:

DC: Superman and Batman

Marvel: Hulk and Spider-man

Star Wars:Luke Skywalker and Yoda

Transformers movies: Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (because the history in the comics is a bit inconsistant)

Mortal Kombat: Raiden and Sub-Zero

Nick: Avatar Aang and Danny Phantom (these would have been separate universes, but characters like Kitara, Zuko, Sam, and Tucker might not do quite as well)

Ben 10: Ben Tennyson and Gwen Tennyson

Harry Potter: Harry Potter and Dumbledore.

From manga and anime:

Fairy Tail: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia

Naruto: Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha

One Piece: Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro

Bleach: Ichigo Kurosaki and Renji Abarai

YuYu Hakusho: Yusuke Urameshi and Hiei

Pokemon: Ash/Pikachu (because it has been pointed out that Pikachu works best when commanded by Ash) and Mewtwo)

Fullmetal Alchemist: Edward Elric and Roy Mustang

Soul Eater: Maka/Soul and Death the kid/Patty/Liz (this is because Soul, Liz, and Patty function as their weapons and all the characters are much less powerful when without a weapon or when not used as a weapon)

Rules:

No speed blitz.

No infinite mass punches.

No flying into the sun to heal.

No Alien X form.

No reality manipulation.

Assume all characters are their current versions or the version of themselves that existed at the end of their series, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Ash cannot enter the fights himself, just command Pikachu.

The Soul Eater weapons are not allowed to transform into their human forms.

Fight conditions:

Fights take place in an unoccupied gladiator Colosseum that is as big as it needs to be to contain the fight.

All combatants are equipped with anything they would normally have on them or normally carry into battle with them.

The teams do not have any pre-knowledge of the teams they are fighting, unless it is the pre-knowledge they'd already have if one of their opponents is from their universe.

Teammates have automatic knowledge of their partner's abilities and powers.

Standard morals on, but all characters are fighting to win, regardless of who their opponents are.

A team can continue even if only one of the two teammates remains.

Fights end in knockout, death, or when one team has no one who can continue fighting.

Full heal and regeneration for the winners after each fight.

And it is YOU, the Comic Vine posters, who determine which team wins!

You vote, by posting who you think wins. Give reasons if you want, because it may convince other to vote on your side.

The team that is the first to get 10 votes in its favor is declared the winner and moves on to the next round. (the number of votes required may change later on depending on how many people respond)

Team 2 with ease.

I believe that team 2 wins, but not as easily as everybody says. Roy could stand up to Hulk, at least for a little while. If he stayed smart and kept Hulk under continuos fire, he could keep him at bay for quite a bit.

And Sub-Zero might be able to contend with Maka, maybe even win if he's lucky. ( Though, all my knowlegde for Maka comes from that link above. So I could be completly wrong )

But when it comes down to it, Hulk will most likly catch Roy and smash him to pieces, and then absolutly murder Sub-Zero, assuming he even survied Maka.

team 2

Team 2 will definitely win, but not as easy. Ben alone has an alien that does timestops and one that can enter hyperspace, and it's not Alien X.

Isn't EU Luke supposed to be super powerful or something?

I don't know but Lucy can summon the spirit king who seem to be very powerful and Aang in avatar mode is extremly powerful too

Hiei alone might solo, but adding luke Skywalker makes this a unfair match as he can tp both members

the only way team 1 has a chance is if Lucy immedaitly pulls out the spirt king who can contend with and maybe even win this fight but she could be blitzed before she compleats the summons

I don't know much about Yusuke, but I'm fairly certain him and Bats are outmatched here.

This basically comes down to Ichigo vs. Yoda, in which case I'm backing Ichigo.

Strength Speed and power of a S Class Demon.

Here the weaker Sensui had to hold his power back to not destroy the earth as Yusuke says and feels. Why would he hold back his power? Because he was afraid of damaging the Planet with his Aura!

Yuske is busting Mountains with a punch.

Yuske so powerful he makes Tornados with his Punches!

Sensui as a S Class and busting Mountains with a punch could not kill the A Class Kurama, Kurabara, or Hiei in a 10 minuet beatdown.

As S Classes there Durability is greater.

The weak S Class Sensui remains unaffected by the Japan Earthquaking energy of Koenma with ease.

Hiei gets some bruise ribs from a attack with the force of a Nuke.

King Yamma is a mere A Class demon of the Spirit Plane and his power is so great when he throws Temper tantrums the effects of that power is felt in the more fragile Human Plane as terrible natural disasters and 6.0 earthquakes!

Now with that in mind. This guy is so powerful yet S clss demons are proven by far stronger.

The Only defense Spirit World has for Earth is not strength of Offense, but Defense.

There is a reason why Demon plane is hundreds times more vast than the earth Plane, it is to contain the power and energies of the S Class Demons there.

Even Genkai states Yususke can destroy the planet.

So you see, it is pretty clear a powerful S class can Planet destroy or wreck Earth with effort.

Add to this healing.

Also Yuske has spirit Healing that can heal Holes in his body in seconds!

Team 1 ; yoda could handle batman and yusuke actually has some good speed and skill to fight ichigo until him and you a overwhelm him
