I'm not sure to what prep would amount to here, but Ben would win in a random encounter.

That is why I put a week prep to it sir, and I think it would really help Cap here win the battle I guess 7/10

Scarlet Spider wins.

Mainly due to the fact he's as good as Parker with prep(what with him being his clone and all) and he has impact webbing/stingers. Combine that with his superior stats and Ben has this!

I'm curious as to what Cap's differences are between his 616 and Ultimate incarnations? I know Ult. Cap is supposedly physically superior but to what degree? Is he as tactically/skilfully experienced?

Apart from his superior stats(3tonner) he's not a lot different from 616 except he has less morals. Killing doesn't really bother him.

@eatmore_payless: Ultimate Cap isn't exactly what I'd refer to as a prep master. It also depends on the equipment they are allowed to use and their resources.

Ultimate Cap himself told Fury that his tactical skills weren't anything to write home about in Ultimates #6. His plan to defeat the evil Reed Richards was "drop the Hulk into the middle of this city and see what happens".

@CitizenBane that's an ingenious plan, though...

@CitizenBane: So he's lacking the impressive tactical expertise that his 616 counterpart possess? Definitely makes a difference.

Fury actually listened to him and dropped the Hulk over Reed's city, but then Reed talked to Hulk and convinced him to join his side. So it didn't really work out, to say the least.

I mean, who sends the Hulk to fight a prepped Reed Richards?

I don't even think his physical advantage is that great or overwhelming, 616 Cap would beat Ultimate Cap.

That's why I was curious in the first place. He's never displayed anything that differs him from 616 Cap. I have no problem confirming that Ben would destroy him in a fight.

Regular Cap has hurt regular Hulk, too. Oh, and Ben still wins.

Ultimate Cap wins simply because he does NOT lose. >.>
