@HellionVulcan: Yes, Ares is going to do that to the guy who fought Hand to Hand against the Hulk. And keep in mind that for this fight, Ult Cap has Steve Rogers of 616's skill. Ares, based on all of his showings, doesn't stand a chance.

@Ferro Vida: still Ultimate cap has nothing that can hurt Ares in any way as hes taken hits from Hercules hulk sentry & so much more & been fine Ultimate cap doesn't have that hitting ability so he can't win at all as what can he do hit ares with his shield & do no damage at all . .

@HellionVulcan: Except that Ares' durability has fluctuated a massive amount since he joined the Mighty Avengers. One minute he survives a hit from Hulk, the next one of Cap's bullets send him flying and stuns him. Ultimate Cap was able to hurt Ultimate Hulk, so he can hurt Ares. If all else fails he can punch with his shield, focusing the force of the blow along the edge to make it more lethal.

@HellionVulcan: You haven't read anything with Ultimate Cap, have you. I phrase this as a statement and not a question because that is what it is. Ares has shown time and time again that he is too slow to tag someone like Cap and too much of a brawler to match his skill. And if all else fails and Cap can't hurt him then he will find a way to do so. The man is always planning; he beat the red skull by teleporting a plane into his chest. He took out Ultimate War machine with utter ease. He could just as easily disarm Ares, for all the skill he has shown, and then hurt him with his own Adamantium weapons.

@Ferro Vida: I did read the ultimate comics as i own some of them also but the pis reasons u give for ultimate cap to defeat Ares isn't going to be easy at all & Ares is going all out i can't see any Captain America surviving ares rage plus have u seen what Ares weapons can do ? shattered buildings one hit cap aren't getting close or doing much .

@HellionVulcan: Have you seen how easily Ares gets his @ss kicked? Sure, he could ruin the street and shatter buildings (which I want to see him doing before I believe it), but that would be detrimental to him. Cap is a lot faster and more agile and wouldn't be take out by something like that, while it would only make the battlefield that much more difficult for him to traverse.

@Ferro Vida: Ares is written terrible by marvel but hes mini series & that savage axe of ares one shot proved how badass he was & that hes not easily defeated & as Daken said ares can shake the world with his Hands when he rages & i can't find the pic but it happened during dark avengers Ares hits a building with his axe but only because spider-man webbed most of the building up it didn't fall .See can't see how ultimate cap could get enough force to ko or kill ares or even bfr him as cap has no means to win .
 
@Project_Worm: Based on what ? i see no way of Ultimate cap winning realistically over Ares .

Kepp in mind, it was written by Daniel Way, who doesn't have the best track record of doing his homework on characters.

@Jazzitup: Ultimates were not on 616 levels as ultimate colossus beat alot of characters his 616 counterpart couldn't ,so what does Ultimate cap do to harm or ko Ares as no meta human has ever ko Ares ? as i've stated cap has nothing to defeat Ares besides u saying so with out any battle situations ..
