That's pretty much inconsistency when you look at Part 2 in general and the other feats of Joseph, it doesn't makes sense.Naruto, Bleach and many other franchises have multiple FTL feats but no one is calling those characters to be on those levels because of that reason
@colliderz: Hows it inconsistent? Joseph was also able to keep up with Kars, who was able to see the laser in slow motion.
Is there anything in part 2 that indicates that Joseph can't react to?
IIRC the only thing Joseph couldn't react to was Star Platinum, and that was because Star Platinum is confirmed FTL.
Part 2 doesn't needs to indicate anything, Joseph doesn't have any other feats that puts him into even hypersonic range which starts with Mach 5 while you are expecting me to believe he has reaction speed of Mach 881742 a speed that can travel around the world 30 times in a mere second, that simply doesn't makes sense
@colliderz: Joseph is too fast. There's nothing to suggest that the feat was inconsistent; he's just lacking on other speed feats. And hell, if we go by powerscaling, Jonathan is arguably light speed, too (but that's extremely debatable and I don't want to hold by it).
@colliderz: Deathstroke and Captain America would have only dodged lasers as a result of aim dodging. Not so with Joseph and Kars. As you can see, Lisa Lisa fired the laser first before Joseph dodged it.

It doesn't have to contradicts anything and you can't make a case about lacking the feats when the other feats that Joseph have puts him to supersonic range, Mach 1-5 to Mach 881742 is a ridiculous gap.Anyway I recently started Jojo and I am at the end of Part 3 so I can't comment on any scaling from further parts however Stardust Crusaders barely made to Cairo from Japan in 50 freakin days using human transportations such as boats, planes heck even camels.Don't except me to believe these people can have relavistic speeds.They are simply character that aren't written to have those kind of speeds

@colliderz: Reactions isn't travel speed. They run no faster than peak humans, but they have insane reactions; they're two different types of speed. And yes, they are written to have FTL reactions; the manga stats even confirms that JoJo characters can react at FTL speeds.
Speed aside. I think the Joestars would have this. They would have the better durability, at least compared to Cap. They also have the better offense with Hamon.
