Bane's sole advantage (while on venom) against 616 Captain America is, in my opinion, physical superiority. Stronger, and disputably better durability. But against Ultimate Captain America, I honestly don't see Bane holding any advantages. He'd give Rogers a good fight, but I don't see any critical factors working in his favor.

I just woke up from a nap and realize how god awful that sentence was. It made sense it my mind. I just didn't do a good job of translating that thought process into a... you know, a sentence. Hopefully the above post clears that up.

Ultimate Cap has taken on Hulk, Pym, The Ultimates (while drugged, IIRC), so while i'm sure new-52 Bane would cause Ult. Cap some trouble (especially with his performance against Batman during the lighthouse scene), I don't think there's anything Bane can do to keep Cap down.

No worries. I destroyed the structure of that sentence. I don't even understand it, lol. But yeah, that's obviously applying to pre-52 Bane. New 52 Bane would be a whole different story. We haven't really seen his limitations.

Ult. Captain America has strength on par with Bane (actually superior at max), about 2-5 tons.

Though Bane full on venom might have higher durability as he can take bullets, Ult. Cap probably have limited degree of bulletproof.

I'll give Ult. Captain 6/10 because he has a shield and he is probably more agile.

ultimate cap is a beast. bane loses most of them.

I do not think Bane has any chance at all if Rogers get his adamantium shield.

You would be wrong about him beating 616 cap in my opinion, altho he would give him a heck of a fight.... Cap is stronger, faster batman but yet bane has never really beaten bats... The ultimate verse is where the street characters are nearly 2 to 2.5 times what they are in the 616 verse,, but the major power characters are weaker...ultimate cap is a 10 tonner(I think, mayber 6 to 8 tonner?) either way he faster, stronger, and more skilled than bane and he has no shot against Ultimate cap and 616 cap would win a very solid majority ie 8 or 9 out of ten, but that is for different thread : ) ...

to be fair,, he does throw it hard enough to knock him out as ultimate cap is quite a bit above bane in strength... He is 4 to an 8 tonner and at best bane is a 2 tonner... I don't think he can cut his head off(which he would never do in character), but he does out class him by a pretty good bit...
