Ty Lee vs Harley Quinn

Rules: in character but they know they must take each other down, win by KO, kill or if the other is unable to fight. 30 min prep.

@joewell: To be honest Ty Lee must be a pretty good martial artist since the entire Avatar universe is filled with intermediate level to master level martial artists. Even is she CAN'T beat Batman at the beginning she can systematically take out limb after limb until he's too inept to do anything to her. I'm giving this to Ty Lee 6/10 times

Yeah she owns Harley pretty hard. In a funny way she is kinda Batman in the Avatar Universe. She is one of the few nonbenders can seriously take it her more superpowered opposition

Doesn't beat Bats though. He is also well deserved in pressure points and has a widen martial arts. He also has martial arts to combat certain martial arts, so pressure pint fighting won't be much of a challenge for him.

What makes you say that they are intermediate to master level martial artist? They were better than the standard "human" in a comic world but only 4 of them have any decent H2H feats

That's fine and dandy but they use it to bend. Very few of them are actual martial arts practitioners with any feats.

Harley would'nt get stomped by Ty Lee by any means. She has at least peak human stats with rqual acrobatics. She has taken out Batman with 1 hit of that hammer and thats all it would take to KO TY Lee. Harley can't beat Azula though.

@pooty: I say intermediate to advanced level because every form of bending involves some form of martial arts and she takes out benders who are trained for YEARS in these various arts. Aang was an airbending master(shown by his tattoos). Katara a waterbending master by the end of book 2. Toph, an earthbending/metalbending master by the end of book 2/middle of book 3 and zuko was a firebending master/intermediate who had impressive martial arts feats. Then there's the kyoshi warriors who were ONLY martial arts masters and the dai li. All of which Ty Lee could toy around with. Also looking at the Equalists who were chi blockers they were clearly not as impressive as her but could take on Tenzin(airbending master) Korra(the avatar) Mako(firebending intermediate) and Bolin(earthbending intermediate) Tarrlok(waterbending/bloodbending master) in a somewhat even setting. They have feats, they're just not as glaringly obvious as they are in other shows/comics

@beautifulrevery: Chi blockers had unnatural agility comic book style, but after a few innitial confrontations they where considerably easier to take down. Even in today's society if one tenth of the population could bend they would dominate if they wanted to, LOK actual overlooks how dangerous benders would be en mass for the sake of story.

They trained for years on their BENDING. They rely on their bending. Most benders are one dimensional. The Kyoshi warriors have a reputation but nothing to back it up. Most of Ty lee feats are against 12-14 yr olds. None of them showed strength or durability etc. Ty lee beats harley but i'm replying to people saying they could hang with fighters from marvel/dc. They can't.
