This might be horribly mismatched but here goes;

The Twilight Sword of Doom
vs.
1x Worthy hammer

Both weapons wielded by a random person, for the sake of this discussion both wielders are John Doe's who don't bring anything to the fight other than being able to wield the weapons with equal measure of skill. So this will purely be decided on, which weapon is the better.

Round 1; Twilight John does not know the full extent of his weapons capabilities, to him is basically just a sword.
Round 2; Twilight John knows about the full extent of his weapons capabilities.

NB: If this isn't totally one sided, maybe we can start handing out the weapons to characters and see how it goes then.

@LordStoop: No, I mean like one of those currently wielded by Hulk, Titania, Juggernaught, Grey Gargoyle, Thing and Absorbing Man as part of the Fear Itself event.

Umm Wasn't that sword forged in the heart of a dying Galaxy and had to power to rival Odin himself?

@CapitolPunishment: Well, if it wasn't dying before Surtur began, it was definitely dead afterwards, if thats to blame the sword alone for coming to be or Surtur for chosing the spot, guess that's another discussion. But atm, I am unaware of the origins and the exact powers of the Worthy hammers other than mind control or possession. Juggs and Hulk for example, what benefit did they get from the hammers?

TS ftw even against all hammers.

It can destroy galaxies, is the only weapon in Asgard that can take Ymir and has powerfull reality warping.

The Twilight Sword is a galaxy busting weapon, and the hammers seem to be more or less on Mjolnir's scale, more or less city-or-state busting.

Even then. I belive that if someone would be in trouble he will think: "I want to kill him! Imprison him!" or something like that. And one of this thoughts should active reality warper powers of TS.

I would say that a new user would find the sword and hammers to be equally confusing/usable. So the sword would still end up more powerful (in other words, let's say a new user could access 25% of the power of a hammer and 25% of the power of the sword, 25% of the sword is still more powerful than 25% of the hammer).

Ok, this appears to have been too much in the Swords favor...so lets put a face on the Hammer;

No Caption Provided
Same rules for the Twilight Sword as before.
For Juggs, Theres the pre- and post-Cyttorak involvement settings.  Does it make a difference?
