Team 1: Katara and Kya

Team 2: Toph and Lin

Rules

• All to character
• Win by KO
• Both teams have 10 min prep
• Basic Knowledge
• Lin without metal armor and cables
• Start 15 metres apart

Both teams are motivated: If Team Katara wins, her mother is brought back to life. If Toph’s team wins, Toph'll finally get her parent’s acceptance

Both teams have a vast amount of their bending material

Round 2

• Full Moon;
• Lin has her cables
• Toph is in her metal armour
• Morals off
• The air is filled with steam and water vapour

why do I keep getting tagged for these avatar threads?

i don't care or know anything about the series beyond the first 2-3 episodes that I'd rather forget

I feel it could go either way, i mean i think toph could possibly beat katara, but idk i feel kya would best lin. So imo its whom ever finishes the other first. for round 1

For round 2 i'd go with a slight majority for Katara and Kya again, due to the moon being better advantage than lins suit and tophs as well.

Round 1 Katara and Toph might be fairly even. I'd give Lin an edge vs Kya, but without cables this'll be harder than I first thought

Round 1: Toph and Lin

Round 2: Katara and Kya

They only stand a chance with blood bending otherwise they get wrecked easily. Heck in round 1 toph arguably solos.

Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra (from Book 3) have been two of the best cartoon series of the current decade, and for me of all time. Perfectly paced, perfectly written, real attachable characters, near perfect action and more. How can you not stand this perfect cartoon/anime?

Anyway, I'd take the Earthbenders for Round 1 easily but Katara stomps via bloodbending in Round 2.

@lvenger: Half of your comment is perfectly correct and half is so very wrong IMO. The Original Avatar was one of the best cartoons EVER!! I still watch re-runs to this day!! I was so excited for Korea and season 1 was a huge let down. Maybe season 2 will be better. Most cliched and predictable writing ever!! I refuse to watch even one second of season 3. People say it's the best yet but those same people liked the other seasons. But I'm happy people enjoy the show. I really wish I could.

Arcus1- of course Toph wouldnt solo. With that much water Katara could arguably beat her, certainly stalemate her, people just like to suck of Toph. I would give Lin the advantage of Kya though. So for me it comes down to if Lin can beat Kya faster than Katara can Toph. Id still put my money on team water though, bloodlusted Katara is scary af (with that motivation for her mothers revival she will be bloodlusted) . Round 2 team water stomp with full moon with(10/10) or without blood bending (9/10).

Edit: Toph can hang wtih Katara long enough for Lin to defeat Kya for round 1.

Well first let me just say Avatar: The Last Airbender was one the best freaking cartoons of all time. Legend of Korra.........sucked.

Really season 1 was a massive let down, season 2 was somehow even worse, yet I kept faith and watched season 3.....nothing really changed, only good thing about the season was Zuko's appearance and Bolin learning lava bending.

Season 4 was...I have no words to describe how stupid that season was, yet again very few things to like and so much hate, Toph's appearance along with finally getting to know a little of her backstory was cool but that was just about it. Didn't help that at the end it looks hinted that Korra and Asami are now lesbians.

They really could have made the series alot better, it was basically the same storyline every season. New villain, they want to f**k sh*t up, Korra fights them, gets owned, gets her confidence and probably a new power, then she owns them.

As for who wins

R1: Toph and Lin (Toph may solo)

R2: Katara and Kya (Bloodbending is too much for the earthbending team to handle)

Katara beats Toph but Lin beats Kya. However, Lin beats Kya a lot faster than Katara beats Toph.

Also, lol at all the bias towards Toph here.
