Alright guys, here goes nothing. I don't know much about Lanterns, except that possibly Larfleeze is the most powerful one. This could be completely wrong, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this. (I've searched for a thread like this on google and on CV but nothing close has appeared, I apologize if I missed one somehow)
So everyone, please list out what you believe to be the Top 10 Most Powerful Lanterns ofany color, at normal power levels (no Ion/Parallax, amps, etc...you know what I mean), in their most current depictions.
If there is something I should change, let me know. Have fun!
Top 10 Most Powerful Lanterns
Larfleeze is the single most powerful. Fact. Unless you count Deadman, who is the only White Lantern right now.
In no order:
Kyle Rayner
Hal Jordon
Sinestro
Atrocitus
John Stewart
Black Hand (does he count?)
Mogo
Carol Ferris
Dex-Star (the guy is pretty good)
Possibly Fatality (more so when she was with the Sinestro Corps)
I'm not including the guys that were Lanterns only during the Blackest Night incident (Flash, Wonder Woman, Scarecrow, etc.)
I'm not including Mongul, as he wasn't a real member of the Sinestro Corps. Just a usurper. And I'm not including the Anti-Monitor's heralds.
I didn't include anyone in the Blue Lantern Corps or the Indigo Tribe because they require another lantern.
Fair enough, sounds like a good call. Probably shouldn't include these people.I'm not including the guys that were Lanterns only during the Blackest Night incident (Flash, Wonder Woman, Scarecrow, etc.)
I'm not including Mongul, as he wasn't a real member of the Sinestro Corps. Just a usurper. And I'm not including the Anti-Monitor's heralds.
No Alan Scott? Isn't he supposed to be very powerful?
Blue and Indigo Lanterns are pretty powerful, but I'll just stick to GLs and Sinestro.
No order:
- Kyle
- Hal
- Mogo
- Kilowog
- John
- Guy
- Alan
- Katma
- Rond
- Sinestro - In the past, him and John fighting caused a near supernova level explosion. He was amped at one time, where he destroyed a galaxy too, but I'll ignore that.
" @Sexy Merc: You can use all the colors if you want to (Orange, Blue, Indigo, White, Black, Alpha, Red, Green, Yellow, etc.). No need to limit I guess since this is for most powerful lantern of all colors. Doesn't have to be just Green/Yellow. I'd like to see how all the most powerful lanterns stack up. "If thats the case
1. would be Larfleeze...
" @difficlus said:Sodam Yat sucks, just because he has superman's powers doesn't mean he is powerful. Kyle or any other top notch GL could beat him." @ckal said: If thats the case 1. would be Larfleeze... "I concur, second place would be Sodam Yat, its superman with a power ring. "
John Stewart= Exceeded the limits of the limitless ring
Hal Jordan= Greatest Green Lantern ever simply because he is willing to explore all the ring has to offer, part of being a test pilot always testing the boundaries...
Katma= Most powerful Female hero in DC and leader of the Green Lantern forces
Guy Gardner= Former Police officer, very powerful in his own regards, but arrogances in most cases leads to him coming out second best, but his power is not to be played with.
Kilowog= Of the approx. 15,000 Green Lanterns in the universe, when you are the fifth most powerful Green Lantern in most cases you are going to be the most powerful person on almost any planet you visit.
Kyle Rayner= Most people are going to moan, but the fact is Kyle is an artist and when you consider the ring takes on the background of the wearer for him to be number six is really high. Stewart a marine, Jordan, and Air force Officer, Katma a resistance leader on her home planet, Guy a former police officer, and Kilowog who is a born scientist and given he was trained by Lantern Ermey; so when you look at it Kyle offers his ring an open mind vs the will of people who shape their rings with a military/revolutionist background; to be number six is huge. And yes I know he goes on to become Ion. But the fact remains the will and the background of the wearer shapes the ring...
