Why do you think he's not that good?

I would go with Eska and Desna, simply because they have the numbers. This allows them to simultaneously attack and defend, as well as overwhelm any attacks that Tonraq may attempt.

Twins. He's better than them individually though

I am really not sure to be honest. They're styles differ greatly. Tanraq uses pro bending style and tries to over hem his enemies with broth strength. Desna and Eska are more conventional and use large scale attacks like the one on ming-Hua

Tanraq fought almost evenly with Zaheer whereas twins got one shotted by Ming-Hua, who I see as being in the same tier as Zaheer.

If if I had to choose, I would lean towards the twins since they have a numbers advantage. They take this with high difficulty.

@gxrevolution96: Tonraq does have some feats similar to Ming Hua-like water arm acrobatics, flash freezes, etc, though not quite the same obviously

I would say the twins take a slight majority. Tonraq can definitely take them one-on-one, but Eska and Desna's wide-range attacks will overwhelm Tonraq eventually.

at just 20 feet Tonraq might be able to close the gap against them, lessening the effectiveness of wide range attacks

Tonraq is better individually, but the twins are still very good waterbenders. I think numbers may take this in the end. Besides, twins seem to work fine when they fight together, short like Mako and Boulin. And Desna and Eska have shown they can teamplay.

Tonraq has more experience, is definetly a better warrior, has shown good dodge skills and seems to have more technique. Desna and Eska have also some dodging showings and it seems more raw power than Tonraq. I think in a 2vs1 they could overpower Tonraq.

Twins, barely.

Either of the twins solos, they godstomp Tonraq together. They have ice ramps to efficiently move around, their ice projectile spam against Ming Hua was killer and their raw power is on entirely other level.

@linark: that move was Mediocre they are barely in the top 10 greatest water benders with that move
