So, is this current Tim? I haven't seen many feats from Babs, but I think Tim, with all the training he's had, would be able to beat Babs. I mean, who did she get trained by anyway? Anyone who isn't Batman?
I say Tim, I believe he's more skilled, and has the superior gadgets over bab's batgirl gadgets.
@-Eclipse-: She was trained by Richard Dragon, after she was put into the wheel chair, before that I think her training was from martial arts classes, which I believed she earned a black belt, and learned some ju-jitsu.

I beleive him to be the superior Martial Artist due to more training , i beleive Babs trained with her class and probably received training from Bruce but Tim has been trained by Bruce , Lady Shiva and stuff , also he has superior gadgets , Babs' stuff was pretty basic .

Some would say that Jason Todd is better H2H fighter than Dick. Cassie is obviously the best Batgirl, all the others are quite pathetic compared to her. Robin is where it can get sticky, then again, some would say Dick, some would say Jason.

I should think, since this is Batgirl Babs, any training she had as Oracle doesnt count. I'm assuming this is Babs at her peak during her Batgirl career, and I seriously don't see her standing much of a chance against Tim.
@-Eclipse-: That's what I assumed as well her oracle training wouldn't be used, so that leaves her with what she got in her karate classes, along with her ju jitsu she has. Neither learned from Batman, or I believe someone comparable in skill. So I assume Tim has is her better in skill.
@nightwing91: Yup, agreed. Babs was never very experienced as Batgirl, but then neither was Dick as Robin back then. What changed with Tim is he had a solo title, so he was able to journey around and get all this additional training AND show off his skills more often.
@-Eclipse-: Well Tim may have had the solo series, depicting his training but Dick had his adventures in the teen titans to back him up, And Tim mentioned when he met a younger Dick he wasn't anywhere near as good. But I do see bab's being able to give Tim a run for his money, but Tim has the superior skill, his bo staff, and the superior gadgets.
@nightwing91: True, but for most of his time in the Titans Dick was Nightwing. I don't know, it was a different time back then, characters didn't need to be a ridiculously skilled at fighting as they are today, which is why I don't see Babs from that period standing much of a chance against Tim.
@-Eclipse-: Most of the time post crisis he was robin until his late teen's which was shown in Nightwing Year One, so I mean he joined the teen titans faily early in his career. and he's only around 25 now. So I believe he was Robin slightly longer then he was Nightwing, and in a zero hour tie in Drake was completely upstaged by the much younger grayson's martial arts, and that's after he had completed all of his training.Granted still early in his solo series.
@nightwing91: I know he was Robin a long time, but most of that was as Batman's sidekick, who only appeared alongside Batman. When he joined the Titans, I thought he became Nightwing pretty quickly. But I could be wrong, lol
I also find it hard to believe that Tim was upstaged by a 12 year old Dick... I get that they want to drive home how Dick is a better fighter than Tim, but that's just unrealistic.
@-Eclipse-: I believe Dick may have been younger then 12, It was in Robin 10, he upstaged him physically, Tim was the one who figured out the weasel's escape root.It's been constantly acknowledged that Tim wasn't the best martial artist, that appears to have changed towards the end of his Robin series and in Red Robin. But your right about it being different times for most of that, Dick relied more on gadgets.
