P.S. Mxy did have his powers when Man Prime stomped him, you can call it bad writing per say but i kind of liked it lol, i was tired of the old goodie two shoes Supes that would always save the day and get Pranked on by Mxy, thus Superman Prime a Superman that takes nothing from nobody and is ruthless, vicious, cunning and not affected by anything pretty much or can't ever die since he is an anomoly that can never be erased as stated in Legion of 3 Worlds, as far as a writers perspective it was Superman's answer to powerful beings like Mxy etc.
The Fury adapted to his REALITY and everything in it being erased. If he can adapt to that, surely he can adapt to anything? As shown with his MJJ fight, when no matter what he threw at the Fury, it always adapted. MJJ is an omniversal Reality warper.

MJJ was stated to be a threat to the omniverse, he was never more then a universe buster either. WF Mxy and Batmite actually destroyed every universe and escaped into the real world, also Mxy and Batmite in continuity have demolished universes with a snap of their finger, something MJJ has never and is unable to do. And they can still use their powers in an unspace type environment, again, something MJJ cannot do.
