do you remember the part during chaos war, when Zeus stuns big G? then Odin and the surfer can be enough to handle him (plus thor in case)

@clemj: Chaos King was empowering all the dead people he brought back to life. That is only reason zeus and ares was able to survive Big G attacks and harm him.

The team is too much for Galactus. Odin alone is a major threat to the big G.

The rest of these guys snatch the victory away from Galactus.

does watcher actually do something? he never intervenes so I dont know what he is capable of if he wants to do something

I think we have to assume that Watcher is actually taking part in this battle, or he wouldn't be listed.

The team with ease. Odin beat Galactus recently, Zeus is on a par with Odin so those two alone would take Galactus. Surfer is probably useless here - what Galactus made he could swiftly unmake. Thor has beaten Galactus before using the full might of Mjolnir to drain Galactus power and recently he hurt Galactus physically as shown above. Watchers are abstract powerful beings. All in all Galactus is screwed.

Team beats Galactus based off the scans I saw and what I know of the power of the gods Zeus, Thor and Odin.

That said I don't read Marvel comics so if someone can post scans showing Galactus raeping some of the team's characters maybe I'll change my mind.

The only fight between Zeus and Galactus was when Zeus was amped by Chaos King, Galactus was shocked to see Zeus still standing after he blasted him

I often see Odin as equal to hungry Galactus, but just sated Galactus is more powerful than him, in their last fight Odin headbutted Galactus after massive psychic battle, both of them fell on the Earth and Galactus was the first to stand up while Odin fell into Odinsleep

@BigCimmerian: In Chaos King i don't remember it being expressed that anyone was augmented. It's a possibility but others under the sway of the Chaos King didn't seem boosted. I think Galactus just ASSUMED he was more powerful than them. Afterall Thor has put the hurt on Galactus and this was way before he got the Odinforce. As to the Odin headbutt - Odin was playing possum. He didn't do into the Odin sleep; he transferred himself into the Destroyer and summoned Mjolnir - Galactus didn't want any of that action and fled. Odin out thought and overpowered Galactus. As for the statement about a sated Galactus; when was the last time Odin actually had an Odinsleep since his return? Also bearing in mind he created a world from scratch in Fear Itself. So who is to say this was a fully powered Odin?

Alright mate, I thought you might have noted it down or sumthin.

Team loses. The only time Uatu has been seen fighting was a "what if" and Galactus beat him down then ate him. All the others are of no consquence. Galactus stated that his eye beams can kill skyfathers and Thor/SS are nothing to him.

I dont understand why no one is giving the Watcher any credit here. First, this thread was created with the prameters that Uatu takes an active part in the battle. Yes, I would agree that he usually doesnt get involved but he has mixed it up in the past, (as when he took out the Rogue Watcher) and as a parameter of this thread, he is a combatant. Second, it was stated in the Galactus origin comic that at some early point, when Galactus was still maturing, he was encountered by a Watcher. That Watcher studied him and said something to the effect that "This being possess enormous power and only eating planets etc will sate his hunger". That Watcher says at that moment it is within his power to destroy the young Galactus before Galactus gains his full power. Of course he doesnt because, although he will regret it, because hes sworn to just record events he can intervine, yada, yada yada. That would seem to indicate that a Watcher has power, perhaps not the equal of Galactus, but just below him. I would agree that the Surfer wont be much help as Odin one shotted him during the Blood and Thunder event and classic Thor is on the Surfers same level. Having said that, even if Uatu is 75% of Galactus, considering that Odin stood up to Galactus alone, (and gave him a huge headache with that mega headbutt) and Zeus is equal to or at least close to Odin in power, I think the 3 of them combined have a chance to put the Big G down.

Ok I could see Galactus beating Thor, Zeus, Odin, Silver Surfer,Uatu the Watcher one at a time, but come on couldn't all of them fighting Galactus together be a little to much?

Thor and Surfer combining their powers with that one other chick in The Mighty Thor annual at least got Galactus's attention, so they aren't complete non-factors.
