Your thinking Silver Age.Bronze Age was nearly beat by a Tank shell.

The only version of Superman that Thor can beat is Golden Age. Around this time Superman was throwing around stars like they were footballs. Thor running away from Black Knight and Radioactive Man.
@King Saturn said:surely you have seen these images of Superman pulling Planets like they were Beach Balls...
Superman would handle Thor without his Hammer...

I thought that was silver age.

Bronze age reduced Superman's powers by 1/3Correct... Superman went down 33 percent in power... but if you figure Silver Age Superman could move 9 Planets on a Chain during the Silver Age... 1/3 rd of that is 3 Planets...

@King Saturn: That could be Bronze Age, but it looks more Silver Age looking at the colouring.even if it was Silver Age... notice the text at the top where it says " I have only got Three Quarters of my Full Strength " which would be about 75 percent... not too far from 66 percent... yet, this Superman could still move Planets...
@comicdude23 said:Well, the difference between Silver Age, and Bronze Age, is that Silver Age has no limits, Bronze Age does. And notice that Bronze Age Superman at COIE seems a-lot weaker than the early Bronze Age Superman.@King Saturn: That could be Bronze Age, but it looks more Silver Age looking at the colouring.even if it was Silver Age... notice the text at the top where it says " I have only got Three Quarters of my Full Strength " which would be about 75 percent... not too far from 66 percent... yet, this Superman could still move Planets...
@King Saturn said:that's because they were continuing to dumb down his powers... though its obvious here this is early Bronze Age/ Silver Age Superman... in truth... it has to be more a reflection of Bronze Age Superman... because Silver Age Superman could move Multiple Planets at once... and even with 75 percent of his Strength... this would be nothing to him...@comicdude23 said:Well, the difference between Silver Age, and Bronze Age, is that Silver Age has no limits, Bronze Age does. Alright ... after reading the responses so far, I'm still a little confused at what version of Supes this is.
I would argue that Thor can still take Supes, even without Mjolnir, if they are both at classic - current or standard levels.
If this is the Superman version that does cartoonish off the wall things like "Aaaaa AaaAchCHOOO!!! ... Oops I just sneezed out every star in the Universe like candles because of my Super Sniffles" then Superman wins.
Thor is actually pretty impressive without his hammer.
I completely agree. Thor is still impressive without his hammer. Thor's hammer can make him more versatile and add to the channeling of his abilities and power ... but he doesn't necessarily need it.
Thor is a beast regardless. He is the Thunder God with or without Mjolnir.
His durability and strength can still match Superman without the hammer. The storm still rages within him and flows through him like a flood.
His mastery over the elements is absolute and lightning radiates from his very being.
Thor can even still channel a Godblast, of his divine spirit and the power of Asgard, from within himself without the aid of Mjolnir.
If this is the Superman that was pulling planets like a couple of mars then he curbstorms!Pretty much he gots pwned.
