strength is equalized . No mjolnir or other plot items
Wolverine can speed blitz
@nusa105: that's a terrible reasoning, but I agree Thor wins.
@speedster101: yeap
@speedster101: We've already seen Thor struggle with Wolverine when he had his hammer. Wolverine also landed blows but couldn't penetrate Thor deep enough because he didn't have the strength.
Now he's strong enough, is a far more skilled fighter and Thor doesn't have his hammer which he relies on in almost every fight he's in.
Thor still has weather manipulation and extreme energy attacks without his hammer. He would still take the fight.
I own a Facebook page called Comic Book Arena and I have asked this question before. Thor vs Wolverine. My friend and also admin wrote something amazing.
Here is the post.
For the lazy lol
Original post:
Thor smacks wolverine in the face with his hammer exposing a piece of adamantium. A quick bolt finds its home on that spot of bare metal. Cooked internal organs. Especially if he's standing in a bit of water. Direct short to ground. Wolvie-Q. The charred metal remains crumple to the ground. I see Thor beating the remains with his hammer, not doing any real damage but just beating "it' into the ground. Only thing left to do is push dirt in on top. Cutscene to that grave at midnight. Out from the dirt pops claws and like a zombie from a creature feature flick we see wolverine wiping dirt off and regenerating flesh. He lights a cigar in a full moon backdrop and starts his long walk on the scent trail of the future king of Asgard. (Written in 2012)
He actually wrote this three years later when we asked for an update lol
3 years and 6 months later, in a smokey bar in madripoor, the odinson holds court. Ale (or what passes for ale in madripoor) is in abundance, the music is loud, and laughter is in the air. The mighty Thor is the center of attention, as usual, as he tells stories of battles won long ago. Everyone is enamored with him save for one tortured soul in the corner.
His name is wolverine. Logan to some. Patch this night.
Three and a half agonizing years have been spent on the trail of this man....god? We'll soon see. All this time and he's been right under his nose. The arrogance of this guy. In my back yard no less. My time has come. Make your move old man he tells himself, now.
He approaches the bar right next to Thor and orders a shot of Kentucky bourbon. Quite pricey in this part of the world but what the hell, might be his last.
Thor: "Did you not think i knew you were here, hairy one?"
Patch: "you got a lot of nerve talkin' about hair, Goldilocks."
Thor: "we've been down this road before wolverine, would be a shame to repeat the past." "Please, enjoy your drink and think no more of your /short/comings."
Patch: "i'll drink with you in hell bub and the name's patch.
The shot glass is slammed on the bar, patch rolls to his right, and adamantium claws meet uru metal. Sparks fill the bar and the patrons scatter into the night. Thor brings his hammer down again and again but to no avail because the feral one is too quick for him this time.
Thor calls down lightning in vain. The streets fill with electricity but patch is safe and sound indoors. In the blink of an eye, while the son of Odin's hammer is still raised, patch buries all 6 of his razor sharp claws dead center of Thor's rib cage.
A sickening sound escapes the godling's lips as he slumps to the floor. "What do you know bub, gods do bleed". Patch slowly makes his way back to the bar and snatches the bottle of bourbon. As he tips the bottle into his mouth he hardly has time to celebrate his victory. The room fills with blinding light. Without turning around, patch whispers "bi frost, figured you'd be here to clean up the mess heimdall". The tall, grave figure scoops up the lifeless body of Thor and steps back into the light without a word.
Patch stumbles from the bar still clutching his bourbon. A sense of satisfaction will only be temporary for this one. His sense of closure is mingling with another all to familiar feeling. Futility. The score is even, for now. The young god will return. For Thor is eternal. (Written in 2015)

If a fully powered Thor struggled with Wolverine when he had Mjolnir and only won because Wolverine wasn't strong enough to penetrate his Asgardian hide, how is a Thor without Mjolnir beating Wolverine when the latter is now strong enough to kill him with his claws?
He simply said Thor is at Wolverine strength, so if Wolvie wasn't able to penetrate him before, he won't do it now. Also, you mean when he WASN'T attempting to hurt Wolverine, and was basically LETTING him get blows in. And even then, Thor was still able to toss him around and beat him with relative ease.
Now that they're in a fight where Thor actually wants to hurt him, he stomps..
thor
Thor still has all his powers...so he wins. In a h2h fight Wolverine would win but I don't see how Mjolnir is any more of a plot device than Wolverine's adamantium or healing.
Does "strength is equalized" mean Logan has Thors strength or Thor has Logan's strength? Or, they both have... what strength?
Logan under these circumstances.
@deactivated-5c8fd6cb3e4f4: thank God we have people with more than a single brain cell like you on this site!
Is Wolverine vs Thor even canon to Earth 616? Assuming it is and that we can’t just call out PIS for something that clearly is, here’s the debunk for it: In Wolverine vs Thor, Logan caught Thor by surprise to start it, during there fight Thor was trying to talk him out of it while Logan was trying to kill him, when Thor said "he's faster than I-" the writers put a hyphen right after the letter I because the thought was interrupted meaning that he was most likely not saying Wolverine was faster than him only being tagged because he held back a little too much.
Thor’s also one shotted Logan here https://qph.fs.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-5f126badc0ef75fa059a9fea8c825baa-c and in the scan above.
It says strength equalized but not durability, so Thor can outlast him and beat him in a few hits (assuming strength is equalized to Thor level). Plus he doesn't need Mjolnir to shoot lightning.
