@homicidalmaniac: this is a toughie because i dont know much about the darkness. anyone fill me in?
@kidman560: When its Jackie(the host) controlled by the Darkness, I'd say he holds up a solid chance against Thor, since the Darkeness is basically the equivalent of Lucifer Morningstar power-wise I'd say.
The Darkness by itself however, has no limitations on its godlike power, and would stomp the business out of Thor.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: @homicidalmaniac: well from this it seems that the Darkness would win since it looks like he has nano second reaction time and thor is still on Micro-second (which is totally BS to me) but still
@kidman560: Seeing how Thor is being treated in his Marvel Now book.Jason Arron might give Thor a nanosecond second feat or something close to it.
I'm thinking Thor can win. He seems to be able to be good at producing lightning, which can be manipulated to be a form of light that can hurt The Darkness? Also, The Darkness hasn't taking any super-heavy hitters like Thor as often as some other characters have.
@homicidalmaniac: Thor is way to powerful
Okay I'm here.
Round 1: Jackie is weak to light here and truthfully Thor may be able to use that to his advantage but only if he were to god-blast him. Trust me when I say Jackie is durable if any part of him is left he will come back. But if this is a KO match Thor can take .
Round 2: Jackie has no weakness and is a way smarter and devious. He takes this through a number of means. Thor is powerful, but the Darkness is basically a limitless abstract.
@betatesthighlander1: Why think that
@homicidalmaniac: also Jackie has no morals. If Thor is seen as a threat Jackie will pull out every stop he has.
@betatesthighlander1: Technically speaking the Darkness is more powerful.
@nelomaxwell: The Morals On is more for Thor than for Jackie.Unless you want to put Morals Off.
@homicidalmaniac: No then Thor would be murdered. The Darkness has fought off Shuma Gorath like beings, in the recent comics.
@homicidalmaniac: Also the time doesn't matter in the second round Post rebirth Jackie is immune to light. Well Dopple Jackie anyway.
Jackie both rounds but at least R1 is a fight. R2 being a complete curbstomp. would need to be RKThor to have any chance IMHO
Have to agree. Jackie is highly morals-lite regardless, and is far more likely to go to his more extreme attacks/abilities in a fight early on. Post rebirth...the dopple-Jackie has no morals, and will definitely use the more extreme abilities right off the bat. Thor's main issue will be his morals and the fact that his more exotic/extreme attacks are not how he generally starts a fight.
@betatesthighlander1: Why think that
Thor is a planet buster-type, Jackie has trouble fighting gangsters a lot of the time
@beatboks1: I forgot to say that King Rune Thor is in Round 2

@betatesthighlander1: Not recently, not since way early in the series unless you're referring to that non-Canon video game.
@nelomaxwell: has Jackie busted any planets recently?
@nelomaxwell: has Jackie busted any planets recently?
Nah, but he's remade a universe. Busting a planet would be worthless simply because the Darkness like's corrupting people. Could, well it's the primordial Darkness that existed before this universe so there's that.
@nelomaxwell: really?
Darkness is universal now?
@nelomaxwell: really?
Darkness is universal now?
Yes and no, he altered the universe using his daughter (the codex) we know he did some stuff but they haven't shown how he did it yet. We know that he and there bearers are going up against outerdimensional pre universal creatures now and so far he's been able to handle them.
