I've always wanted to make a Thor vs Supes thread, and I don't know if there are any like this but I will give it a shot.
Thor without any powers whatsoever vs DCU Superman without any powers whatsoever. They both have normal stats (Olympic level athlete if you need to know) and are fighting to KO. Battle takes place in a UFC octagon. Both combatants are fighting in trunks.
Superman; he's been taught by Batman, Wildcat, Wonder Woman and he knows Kryptonian martial arts.
Fixed*
Training would mean he has gone under years of instruction and learning. Superman definitively has been taught, but he hasn't been trained to the point where martial arts is natural like Wonder Woman or Batman.
I've heard the argument that Thor has thousands of years of Asgardian fighting styles behind him. No sure if it's true, I'm just being the devil's advocate.

It's definitely true...he is a God, and God lives forever...
he probably had thousands of years of training before Kal-El 's ancestors even born.

He can 1 shot thor.
How the hell on Earth can he one shot Thor? with pressure point? There is no way Supes can use his Kryptonian Martial arts to beat a man with Thousands of years of experience in Combat....
@N0tS0An0nym0us:
And Thor was depowered in all these fights....and he is capable of training someone, not just showed them...
he is so versatile, he can uses sword, hands, kicks, sticks, he can even uses defensive weapons such as Cap. America's shield to hit against enemy and save Cap.'s ass....

and absolutely none of that is H2H at all....nice melee combat but no H2H at all, all void of use here. Superman with the faster hands, harder hits, better H2H feats.......Thor gets choked by Herc....
I mean...didn't Superman and Wonder Woman fight in Valhalla for 1000 years? So it's not like this "THOR IS A GOD. A GOD OF BATTLE" somehow puts him vastly ahead of Superman.

So? 1000 years of slugging doesn't make you a better fighter.
Most of Supermans fights consist of overpowering the opponent.
Match Superman vs Batman in h2h no powers, 1000 years means nothing.

Did you even bother to reading the entirety of this thread before replying?

@PokemonDefender: Then what was the point of your reply? When it had nothing to do with Batman, and simply that Thor fighting for a thousand years doesn't really matter, since Superman has done the same.
While I think Superman might eventually take it, Thor himself is far from helpless.
Firstly, starting with Bio, which puts Thor skills at 4.
If you are wondering what 4 means in terms of skills, it means you are an experienced combatant. So perhaps not so much below Superman level in skill.
He doesnt have a lot of hand to hand feats but he isnt completely devoid of it either.
Lets try and post some.
Here's Thor fighting few thugs and he has no powers.
Thor 495
Here he shows some combat skill against Erik Masterson
Erik comments oh how good a fighter Thor is without his hammer.
so i am not saying Thor would win, but rather the warrior born part of Thor has been consistent. He has few fighting feats. If however you are looking for Thor hitting a nerve strike you are unlikely to find one because he is a viking born, they dont do nerve strike, they just hammer you to death O_o

Well... Before Mjolnir, Thor fought against Hel's army for 40 days and 40 nights with the help of Volstagg, Farndal, Hogun and Loki, without food or water, then the rest of them get hurt, and Thor continued fighting against Hel's Army for another 40 days and 40 night, and he defeated Hel's Army...
Also he has another feats without uding Mjolnir, once he fought against Hulk without using Mjolnir (they never finished that fight).
When he had been de-powered, Thor stalemated Captain America.
Thor is considerably more skilled, and far more experienced.
Add to that, the difference in mindset, which is just another advantage in Thor's favor.
Thor wins.
Would you happen to have a issue number for that? I am assuming its in one of the Avengers appearances of Thor which i have not read, i would be interested to read it (not saying i dont believe you, just curious).

id like to see it too....stalemating Steve seems legit.....
@Killemall: Sorry, I don't remember the specific issue. It was during one of the times when Thor had been de-powered. There are probably people here on CV who are a lot more into Thor than I am, who can tell you the specific issue.
Now, if it comes to knowledges in martial arts, isn't it that Thor knows every martial arts on Earth + the other worlds (That freaking tree I can't spell the name)?

Thor wins, effortless curbstomp. If needed I can provide explanation, but it is quite obvious if you read OP.
please provide explanation just for the hell of it?
OP said they are both depowered, that means that Clark is just regular human with height of 6'3 and weight of around 230 lbs. Depowered Thor is 6'6 and he still retains his Asgardian physiology which means that his weight is 640 lbs. That would put Thor in huge advantage. Depowered Supes is definetely not peak human, he should be athletic at best. Depowered Thor should be considered peak human or even enhanced if you see feats performed by depowered Hercules who is a bit smaller and lighter than Thor. Supes isn't martial artist he is just skilled and like Thor he often fights like brawler, but Thor is warrior god and I know that he doesn't fight very smart, but it is only because he rellies on Mjolnir too much. With clear physical superiority and being more skilled Thor should win this easily.
