Thor vs Superboy and Supergirl

Random encounter, in character, but each side believes the other are dangerous criminals. No BFR. Win by KO or death.

Can the DC team take out Thor?

@charlieboy: His jobbing started in the Deviant saga. But that was in November of 2011, so he's basically just had the worst year of his career in 2012 with a little in 2011 and not much in 2013. He's still got 5 decades of feats to call on.

In the past year or 2, Thor hasn't really jobbered. Except in AVX. In Marvel Now he feels like Classic Thor.

@ThunderGodsWrath: Yeah Emma and Rachel both kind of made Thor look bad. My opinion of Thor has been fairly low since Siege.

Thor wins, superboy is not as strong like planet level, he is closer to like state to country level destruction, as for Kara, she is pretty tough. Planetary lvl, but she is not as strong, or as versatile as Thor. Thor wins.

Thor wins this I think. Better fight than people might think though

Thor would come into this fight with all the confidence. He is like two streets taller than Conner and he could eat Kara for breakfast. However, they would be CRAZY strong. If Thor keeps up he would wreck Conner. Just destroy him. If then Kara goes bloodlusted or anything. She would finish him. She might even get Mjolnir. Could she?

@charlieboy: That's true. But he's also hit guys like Quicksilver, Hyperion, Sentry, and Silver Surfer. His speed feats vary in degree. And guys slower than Thor have hit Conner and Kara.

@Fernando072295REBORN: Quicksilver isn't in the same league. And I have seen the fights between Surfer and Thor and I don't recall either using superspeed during their confrontations. Thor's hammer is fast but most of his feats show that his reflexes aren't.

@charlieboy: He's faster than you'd think. And in any case much faster than mongoose. Surfer's tried closing the gap between him and Thor and payed the price for it:

@Fernando072295REBORN: The problem with that is you don't even really know if the Surfer is using super speed or not. I know that Thor can travel fast because of the hammer. But his actual reaction time is not usually shown to be very fast. There was a whole thread made about Thor being speed blitzed by people last year. I don't remember the title. But there was lots of poor speed showings for him.

@charlieboy: Well he wasn't having a gentle stroll to try and take down the guy who mauled him earlier. Why wouldn't he be going fast I guess is a better question. Not to mention, I want to point out just how few character would stand a chance against the speed argument. Superman has up to femtosecond level feats. That would give him several millennium to beat his opponent before any sort of reaction could be formed. Do you know how many other characters have that type of speed? 1. Barry Allen. Meaning anyone else is going to be taking hits from one of the hardest punchers in comics for years before they even have a chance to react. That would give him clear wins all the way up to Imperiex and beyond. He'd be be beating the crap out of abstracts. But how can this be when he has 7 decades of showings where that is not the case? It's the same here, speed can be used as an argument sure, speedsters use it for a reason. It wins them fights. But it turns into a wash when facing guys who've pegged speedsters before like Thor has. He's shown to be able to hit the fast guys even with poor reaction speed in the past.

@Fernando072295REBORN: I don't believe he even tagged Quicksilver. Didn't he have to hit the ground to throw him off? I don't think he actually hit him.

@charlieboy: To give you an idea of how fast he moved in that scene, Quicksilver dodged lightning moments before that. Thor hit the ground so fast that Quicksilver was unable to react, meaning substantially faster than the bolt he fired, and had his hand on Pietro's throat before he finished hitting the ground.

Well to be fair, Thor was seen tanking hits from Void, and ended up killing him too. Even the Avengers & Shield said Thor was the only one capable of beating Sentry. So, I wouldn't try to downplay him.

She's not in this match, lol. Also only HOM Wanda can beat Thor, any other version gets stomped.

Not saying Thor is faster or not, but I doubt Marvel would make Thor be superior to Quicksilver in speed in that fight. It is Quicksilver's only power, and he's Marvel's Flash after all.
