Thor vs. Spawn

I see them as a good Match-up. who wins?

Thor no problem hed own him with some white lightign maybe but i agree it be a good fight but thor woudl smash the hell out of spawn since spawn isnt very durable.

Since Spawn has a plethora of many different powers I think can pull out with the win.

LoL no he cant if you thinkign thors only gonna use hsi hammer to smash then no spawn may be immortal but thor's white lighting said been strogn enough to kill immortals spawn has like 5 powers compared to thors 30. Id name them but it be a lon list i can say one thing if thor throws his hammer two times the speed of light at spawn its over.

I have a question: are we talking Spawn's normal power levels or Spawn at the end of the series when he was a god.

Well lets make it fair if he was normal hed lose terrible wed have to take it up to a god i guess but do you think thor would be aloud with the odin force then or no odin force. Im more farmiliar with spawns regular form and soem of his villins i only read as him being a god.

At the end of the series Spawn is near omnipotent and invincible (He destroys the entire forces of Heaven and Hell in one fell swoop and closes the doors to Heaven and Hell) and would wipe the floor with regular Thor but if Thor had the Odin Force I don't know who'd win.

Following Spawn #161, the Man of Miracles had given him fruit from the Tree of Life and propelled his power to high-omnipotent levels, enabling him to rival God and Satan. couple things he has done so far 1 he used his new powers to wipe out the earth of all the legions of heaven and hell in one blast without showing any obvious wear on his power 2 he resurrected all humans and had undone all the damage from the four horsemen after the armageddon. so i think thor could have a problem with him

This gives him super strength and durability.

Spawn lost his God powers because he gave back the power to the tree. Thor currently has the Odin Force so it ends in a curbstomping of Spawn.

Okay if spawns a god hes wisn if hes no thor would easily smash him the only thing spawn would have is his gun that shot necroplasm and his four unbrekable chains besides that thro can dodge any of those and spawn is 400 pound si know that doesnt help but yeah thor can get rid of him he would probably use hsi solar flare twice that f the sun or his thermo blast capable of getting rid of a planet maybe god force if spawn was makin the fight go to long. Also spawn isnt that durable thats why his regeneration so high and the writer made it like only 7 or less ways to hurt him and only two places he can died at heaven and the place between hell and earth hes a mortal their.

Spawn isnt anything compared to Thor now that he lost his God powers.

If Spawn still had his power, he'd win. But being that he doesn't, he's owned

Going with Thor for now 

Spawn can only be killed he he is decapitated by a weapon from Heaven.  In most scenarios I would see Spawn winning on the count of his more versatile power set and his much more efficient healing factor.  It also helps that Spawn's armor can act to defend him without him being aware that he is endangered.

If we go First Age Al Spawn vs Thor it would come down what one is willing to do what IMO. 
 
 Thor possesses the strength advantage, durability  and in character speed won't necessarily matter for Thor.
 
 Spawn's variety and healing factor and tolerance for pain and his suit possesses a precog ability of extreme danger and Spawn has shown a degree of telepathy to read minds and his chains I believe are unbreakable. Spawn is also stronger than most people give him credit for, he was able to throw a 2=3 story building by himself.
 
They both have transmutation, teleportation (Spawn's teleportation is lightspeed), both possess  magic powers. Speed could be considered the same, Spawn has moved to fast enough to dodge a group of automatic fire in an office building and I know Thor has his share of decent feats. Both have abilities to summone gale force winds, Thor's are more powerful
 
 Thor would more than likely go for go for physical overwhelming whether hammer throws or close range swings yet Spawn's near immune to physical  pain. Thor's lightning is powerful but in character he would hold back like usual, plenty of less durable people than Spawn have survived the lightning and I don't think it's holy magic, it can be mystic lightning but that doesn't necessarily mean holy.  Spawn like Thor,  has a reluctance to use his magic powers. Spawn;s versatility is limited to what he will be thinking of doing. Thor can overpower him and hurt him with the lightning and absorb necroplasmic energy blasts if Spawn decides to use them but that is magic. Spawn can teleport inside his opponents and rip them apart, Thor would be in some deep crap if that happened. Spawn is also able to seal people away under extreme conditions like he did Urizen who's only way to be defeated was to be sealed away which Spawn did with help from Angela.
 
Both have ways to defeat the other, Spawn has the versatility and the natural will to kill , Thor would more likely test himself and hold back, but he has the power and magic to hurt and defeat Spawn given the chance.. I'd lean towards Spawn based on his variety as he does more with his powers more often than Thor who in character for the majority sticks with the same moves.

Spawn wins this very very very easily. You guys must not know anything about Spawn. He can be as fast and as strong as he wants even before he became a god. His only limit was his finite amount of energy, once he used it all he died.Spawn can more than match and easily surpass Thor in magic which isn't hard because Thor's magic attacks suck. Yes his lightning is magical in origin but it is derived from the hammer its not like Thor throws out spells. Spawn can fly just as fast or just teleport, his healing if far more powerful than Thor, and he can shape shift as well as wearing an adaptive living armor and cape that act on their own. That's not to mention Spawns chains and mental abilities as well. Thor gets stomped no contest.

Thor wins via godblast or uses his Valhallen hammer which in some cultures would be holy to crush the demon into nothingness.

There's no proof that Thor can even harm Spawn. So why are people saying Thor wins easy?

It takes time to charge up and use the godblast, so if that's Thor's only way to defeat Spawn Spawn kills Thor easily.

Now this is a good fight!
