Thor [current] is probably one of the few that could take him out even if he was the 'hype 1000 exploding suns' Sentry, and the way he is written now i would definetly give it to Thor current or not.

I say this having a deep, deep dislike for Superdickery clones. I say this with my heart wanting Thor to win But Sentry owns Thor because I have not really seen anything that ever says Thor can harm or even hurt Sentry. Sentry got down and brawled it out with an enraged Hulk, in all my years of comics I have never seen Thor drop Mjöllnir and just start brawling it out with the likes of Juggernaut or Hulk and stop them with just punches
Thor is very inconsistent, Stan Lee wanted him to be one of the most powerful heros out there, he started out strong but he gets beat way too easy and way too often. Sentry says to me Marvel has been building this character on the level of the Pre-Crisis Superman!? Almost invincibility I would love to think Thanos could just pimp slap him but I think it would take a lot more to put Sentry down I would hope Sentry is weak to asgardian magic but I don't think he is Sentry looks to have a slight weakness in only two areas 1His mind Prof X could probably turn him to Jelly 2 Upper limits of Speed He doesn't seem to be as fast as Flash or Surfer

Sentry has the power of a million exploding suns. Thor has Odin Force. Odin Force is capable of destroying a galaxy. A normal galaxy like Milky way consists of 200 to 400 billion stars. Therefore, Thor could take on 200,000 to 400,000 Sentries at the same time and stand a considerable chance.
dammit marvel needs to hurry up and develop sentrys power becuase if people say classic thor can beat him and sentrys supposed to have the power of a million exploding suns then there has to be some logic issues becuase this is not right
Thor would be a match for him without the Odinforce. With it, Sentry would definitely lose. I wish Sentry was with the Dark Avengers when they attack Thor recently. I would love to see a battle between the two.
Thor maybe, the problem with Sentry is after you smash him up into paste he has a nasty habit of coming back from the dead. Sentry was introduced as a Pre Crisis kind of Superman who would pull stuff out of his ass to make a story, but he's no longer at Pre Crisis levels and has been severely depowered since. Still after all these years the Marvel writers still have no clue about Sentry's power set, what he can and can not do and still have no idea where his story is going.
Thor wins because his feats are more consistent He is the better skilled fighter Thor can at least dimension dump Sentry for the win
