I think he resisted Emmas telepathy during AVX. Not saying he is immune but he does have resistance I think (not 100% certain).

I'm not a follower of most Marvel stuff, but I hear that story arc is a pile of crap. Story/character wise. So I don't know whether to trust story arc.

I don'tthink Luthor will beat him.. He ha had MONTHS of prep to kill superman with the one substance that takes him out and still doesn't pull it off.
