@CitizenBane: Lol ok my point is if you want to be effective in a debate and not just run your head into a wall, you need to acknowledge that there are feats that are contradictory to what you are stating. Then you can find the best way to address them.

But saying it is stupid and PIS, and take the hint isn't going to get you much of anywhere, because then you just sound like an ass.

I already addressed them. Twice. Perhaps you should try reading before simply running your mouth.

@CitizenBane: I did, all you did was show how Thor could be weak to TP, while showing that MM was strong in TP. Then you proceeded to disregard Thor ever having resisted telepathy. Am I missing something here? no I am not, because i just re-read it twice.

So I did read it, and the attitude is just annoying.

I did not disregard Thor ever having resisted telepathy. I disregarded the PIS instances of his telepathic resistance, and in the same thread I have also disregarded PIS instances of J'onn's telepathic power that if allowed would easily give him the win. I do not have any problem stating that Thor has a significant degree of telepathic resistance. I can produce 6 different instances of Thor resisting psi-powers other than the instances produced in this thread at a moment's notice. I have simply put forward that it is not sufficient. So either there is a lapse in communication here, or you are simply not reading properly.

Some of the responses here are disturbing...o_O MM wouldn't get majority on regular Thor, let alone KT or RKT would solo the justice league.

It's funny how everyone are still pressing about telepathy. Not about strength.

Let me bring all of you to some senses.

Martian Manhunter, in a number of his incarnations, has been called as powerful as Superman, with enough strength to actually move planets and lift 100 tons. He might as well exceed the class-100 level. So, in terms of strength, MM is one guy who means business. Yes, Thor might be physically a little superior.... And that's understanable... You have introduced Gods as comic book characters.... How about DC actually introducing JEHOVAH as a superhero... He'd be all-powerful... Where'd ya'll go? Where'd Thor go? So, to treat Thor as a full-out God instead of a superhero would be idiotic. Yeah, King Rune Thor is impossible to beat. Ain't it unfair to put an alien in such an unfair contest. Bring him to his strength level, then we'll talk.

Thorites are discussing whether MM canbring down Thor with telepathy. Let's forget about TP. What else am I forgetting. 100-ton strength, fighitng skills, speed (which is way more than Thor), intangibilty (something ya'll haven't even discussed), short distance teleportation, phasing, ability to increase his size, fire optic beams, Martian scream, energy blasts... All these, are forces to be reckoned with. And combined with TP, these abilities can damn well bring the Asgardian down in the first two rounds. The third round, Thor wins. In a spite.

Martian is one of the most under-rated characters of DC> Despite that, he's been shown to possess enormous arsenal of abilities. So, dismissing him as nothing compared to god is total and idiotic BS. MM can win the first two rounds. Third round pits him in an unfair fight. SO he loses.

Having said all this, I'm not a Thor hater. But still, there are limits. 'Cause we are talking a superhero, not a F'ing GOD!! 'Cause nothing can defeat a God except a God himself. We should treat this is two superhuman characters fighting, and put the stipulations accordingly.

@anurag_50: I'm just assuming no one is mentioning phasing/ intangibility because Thor has dealt with that in characters like Loki and Vision, and has soo many instances absorbing/reflecting energy attacks/blasts.

@marvelfan123: King Thor is powerful enough to take down Hulk and Thing and disintegrate Wolverine with a simple look, he is a weak skyfather, so he would destroy martian manhunter easily.

Round 1: MM takes a good majority.

Round 2: King Thor. He is at skyfather level, MM is no match for the odin force. KT could solo the justice league.

I'm not sure why people are saying MMH can win round 2, he is nothing compared to a skyfather and the Odin force, and he loses round 3 as well. A case could be made for classic Thor since he has some pretty ridiculous feats like beating BRB and Silver Surfer at the same time, but MMH should win round one.

J'onn turns his mind into a toilet. Don't give me that AvX nonsense about telepathic resistance via godliness. In the same story Phoenix Emma had trouble with Red Hulk's mind. And TP isn't his only trick at any rate. There's always the invisibility, intangibility, shapeshifting to increase strength and durability.........and the fact that Thor is as slow as a truck.

WOW, the responses in this thread are disturbing.

Round 1: MM wins. People are correct on this, as MM is very powerful and versatile. However it isn't a stomp, Thor has many abilities that he never uses.

Round 2: The amount of people saying MM wins this round are shocking. King thor is a SKYFATHER, has the ODIN FORCE, has recreated the moon (crazy matter manipulation feat) and can stop time.... what will MM do if KT stops time? And Odin has gotten into galactus' brain with telepathy and has resisted Galan's telepathy. Not that this matters anyway as MM will be a statue when time stops.

Round 3: Obvious RKT curbstomp

Thor should win all 3 of these rounds. I am not even sure how King and Rune King Thor are even fair fights to MMH. I mean, J’onn is strong, but he is no skyfather. The closest match I would like to say here is regular Thor and MMH which I believe Thor should take the slight majority in. Thor is likely physically stronger and has resisted telepathic attacks before. That added to MMH’s tendency to get overwhelmed by blunt force only furthers my beliefs that Thor wins here.

1: Thor wins. Stronger, more durable and far more powerful overall. Only advantage that MMH has is his TP, which I would say wouldn't be used more often than not.

2: Thor
