Not really, Mags bloodlusted could just anchor Mjolnir to the core of the earth (along with Thor if he's holding it) or mess with the electricity in Thor's brain.

@xxxddd: doesn't mean he can't; he's done it to other people to my understanding; also, has Thor ever fought an actual bloodlusted Magneto?

Yes, in Journey Into Mystery #109.

Thor will do whatever he must? So I assume he will have morals turned off?

Then Thor wins easily.

No.

Mjolnir has a magical connection to Thor and he can call upon it from anywhere by mere thought. It would take someone a lot more powerful than Magneto to mess with that.

@xxxddd: aw come on! that comic is old as hell, before Mags' powers were actually explained, he's come a long way since then doing ridiculously amazing things and you know it. The way current Thor is portrayed he wouldn't last a second against an actual bloodlusted Eric with the high degree of mastery he possesses on all things magnetic and electric.

Indeed, but opinions on battles are based on what has happened in comicbook battles.

Without past comicbook battles we have nothing for reference.

Like if I wanted to tell you who would win between the Absorbing Man and Thor, I would cite a issue reference, otherwise I wouldn't say anything because a definitive answer(i.e. past comicbook battle) hasn't come out yet.

Morals off means doing things out of character, bloodlusted means not only is the being in question out of character but is willing to kill.

completely agree, however the evolution of the character is such that Magneto's level of power does not in any way resemble the one presented in that comic.

@Jayfournines: Since there hasn't been a battle between the two I can't definitively say who wins.

Nice chatting with you, though.

The reluctance to kill is a part of Thor's character.

I'm not saying that Magneto would mess with the composition or the ability for Thor to command his hammer or lift Thor's hammer or anything like that; however there is no evidence (to my knowledge, I could be wrong) that would indicate that Mjolnir would not be susceptible to the laws of physics (when Thor does not hold it, it still falls to the ground affected by gravity). What I meant by "Magneto can anchor..." is mainly that Mags could use the magnetic filed on earth to weigh down the hammer.

But in all honesty...could Magneto affect Mjolnir's composition? Is there anything to suggest he couldn't?

Thor has morals on, and doesn't the godblast need to be charged?

Mjolnir has violated the laws of gravity since Thor was created as a character. It's traveled faster than light, stopped and traveled backwards through time, and sped right through black holes. The psychic connection created by Odin's enchantment overrides most powers than are not explicitly skyfather-level.

Probably nothing that would be permanent. Plenty of other powerful beings have tried and failed to do so. However Magneto has messed around with the magnetic attraction of Mjolnir when Thor was not paying attention; he can easily replicate that feat with how much Magnus has evolved in comics.
