Thor vs Green Lantern

@blackadamftw: you do realize that thor can: 1) Absorb the energy from his ring. 2) Smash through his constructs with ease. 3) Use the varies powers of Mjolnir, (INCLUDING MAGNETISM LOOK IT UP) to take the ring off 4) Move at many times the speed of light, making him faster than GL.

thor could smash green lantern. and I'm not a marvel fanboy. in fact i hate marvel. but I'm sorry but thor is what you call a powerhouse and green lantern does not last very long against them. I'm sorry but thor could easily just smash through lanterns objects. sure lantern will get some hits and make the fight longer but they won't do much to thor. green lantern does not fight powerhouses very well from what i have seen. anyone wants to prove me wrong show one comic where lantern has beaten or had a good match with a powerhouse

Depends on the lantern iteration. Kyle's ring doesn't need to be charged, but other ones do. It also depends on version. This one is n52 Hal I think, so I have no real bearings other than him as a BL right now. His pre52 feats technically still count though, so it could go either way.

More recently, I'd probably lean towards thor.

Celestials have failed to put a hole in him, and that Celestial could stalemate any of the Guardians of the Universe. Try again.

Ehhh...I consider that like Batman tanking punches from mongul or amazo considering we've seen blows from celestials down Odin completely. I wasn't talking about Krona, I was talking about this:

That's Amazo. He had the combined durability of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash, each of who have durability on Thor's level.

Hal is also faster, more versatile, and has more ways to beat Thor than the other way around.

Green Lantern at his fullest would stalemate Thor .

Thor Stomps. I really want to go with GL here, never been much of a big fan of Thor, but light constructs are useless against someone that can break them with no real effort. Green Lantern's power is based off of his willpower, so it depends on how brave he would be in this situation. To be honest, GL would scream and run at the sight of a god charging at him. No real bravery there. Thor has taken on beings that would make Lantern call for backup.

All in all, Thor blows out the Green Candle- I mean Lantern.

@thebattlecalculatot: You obviously don't know anything about Hal Jordan if you think he's even physically capable of running from a fight.

Hal doesn't need a construct to win. He could use tp to put Thor to sleep, Xavier has done it and Hal has better tp than Xavier. He could shoot Thor through the chest with a ring blast. He could siphon Thor's energy projection as Thor attacked.

This match has been done multiple times. Anyways, Green Lantern wins 7.5 out of 10.

I don't understand why people are saying that Thor destroys Hal Jordan...

Hal is one of the most powerfull Green Lanterns and has a pretty good chance of winning this one. He has by far better blasting showings, he is way FASTER than Thor. And Hal's shield should be able to hołd Thor back long enough for Hal to blast a hole in the God of Thunder.

Hal, since he is much faster combat wise than Thor, as well as having the damage output to KO him. Plus, his constructs can more or less "bend, not break" if you will against Thor's hits. While Thor does have greater striking power with Mjolnir than the average guy Hal fights, it won't be enough to take a majority.

Thor does not destroy Hal, but he wins, his Hammer is even more deadly a weapon than the ring and Thor's strenght and durability will give him the edge.

Without too much difficoulty as well.
