I can see cir pulling off win due to the fact she deals with wonder woman many powerful people on various levels .

Thor regularly fights Loki who is just as powerful as Circe is with magic.

I think Circe can take at least a few rounds (maybe turning him into a hammer or as mentioned, mind rape is an option too). So it isn't a stomp. She does tangle with Diana every now and then and Thor isn't a hundred percent immune to magic.

War Of The Gods Circe probably has a better chance/make it closer. Or maybe give her prep. Given how IIRC she needed prep and time to cast the spell which invoked Hecate during WotG series, she could come up with something to stop Thor in his tracks.

Like Thor has a long history of dealing with devious vixens with magical powers, Circe has a long history of dealing with superpowered brutes:

• As mentioned, she was the cause of the War of Gods
• She did turn every male superhero and villain into half-animals, including merging Superman with Doomsday
• Much later, during the Who is Wonder Woman she even managed to turn Hercules into one of her beastimorps

I'd say there is a 50/50 chance for either to pull off a win. There might be a bit of a lean towards Circe simply because Thor isn't familiar with her, he knows that even if they appear friendly this time, the likes of Loki and the Enchantress will eventually turn on him. This is not the case with Circe.

And before someone says anything of the like of God>mortal, remember that for around 3000 years, Circe served as Hecate's vessle, having the goddess' power and knowledge of witchcraft at her disposal.

Thor has fought Loki , Malakeith , Enchantress , Dr Strange , Wanda etc he's used to magic users & he's pretty adept to using magic himself (let's not forget the illusion he cast that was even good enough to fool Malakeith.) Thor's overall raw power will be too much for her especially if he's at his best .

This could really go either way. If Circe can transmute Thor than she wins. If not he can probably beat her.

Due to the fact that Circe consistently has Wonder Woman like stats...she could threaten Thor with her fists alone. Along with her magic, she could do to Thor what she did to Superman. Or she could do worse, use her magic to piss him off, send him into warrior madness. You'd think this would be worse for her....it's not. He won't fight as smart and that puts him at a disadvantage against a faster, smarter opponent. How will she pull this off without dying? She's fast enough to keep up with a bloodlusted Wonder Woman who's powers she can consistently replicate, she's used her magic for countless illusions and has even fooled the gods themselves, she can also easily teleport but the point is that Thor isn't going to land many hits on her. In my opinion, Circe could beat Thor for similar reasons Diana could but in different ways since she doesn't really use magical gear, her magic may not be strong enough to give her the same means to beat Thor as Wonder Woman would. I don't think she'd win to be honest, but there are ways she can easily. I just don't think it'd be enough due to her not having as many feats as I'd like her to have in order to fully support my argument for her

Circe is hard to scale but she's powerful enough to stomp Thor especially going by current versions

Circe as lesser sorcerers have given Thor trouble.

Man, the folks in the beginning really knew little about Circe. Anyhow, Circe should definitely take it. Her magic, both physically and defensively, has shown to be limitless and capable of pretty much almost anything. I don't believe there's anything in Thor's arsenal that can kill her, unless he's smoking on some Moly.

And Circe being on Wonder Womans levels physiaclly makes her a glass canon kn this fight. She would physically not be able to damage Thor.

Her only shot is magic, and Thor have dealt with stronger magic than hers all the time.
