Yeah Good Point... I would rather see the Classic Thor way done in a comic though

lol

@King Saturn: Apocalypse defeated Loki. He should be able to take Thor as well.

@lordraiden: Isn't Thor vulnerable to telepathy?

Not from Apocalypse! Thor dwarfes Apocalypse in every aspect!  There's very few beings Thor can be mindraped, Odin being one of them.  Thor has defensese against TP, not saying he's immune, but TP is nothing he'd worry about from Apoc. Besides, TP isn't Apoc's strong suit, he hardly ever actually uses it in the middle of an actuall battle, especailly not against a god who's more resistant to it!

for the record, NO, he did not DEFEAT Loki! Please don't say that, as it's completely false.  A win/defeat is a ko or incapacitation, come back and show me where he's indefinately held Loki in his grasp in utter defeat or had Loki laying at his feet unconscious.

@lordraiden: Apoc. is a telepath of a high order.  In The Twelve, he telepathically "mindblasted" Xavier and Jean Grey.

Apoc could not hop to dominate Loki, let alone Thor, telepathically. I've never seen him do it in the midst of battle, especially against godlike beings like Thor or Loki, if he tried that on them, it wouldn't go down well.

Apoc for the win hes his physical match and has tech that could be a big problem for Thor

#22 Posted by MarvelJackAss433 (12238 posts) - - Show Bio
@MutenRoshi: Anything happens in the oldy age.I can show you a scan of Spider-Man beating down Firelord or throwing down with Thor.

This does not seem like a stomp.

@demifiend: Loki was then tripped in one of the machine by i believe calaban, then he ran from the fight after he got out of it. When someone runs from a fight it tends to count as a lost. But something to note is that Loki couldn't seem to hit Apocalypse, although

Apocalypse was able to easily grab or hit him. The same situation with the High Evolutionary.

apoc vs phoenix!? never saw that, what issue please?
#25 Posted by madrid_san (1805 posts) - - Show Bio

APocalypse. VAst intellect, technology and powers over comes Loki and Thor.
#26 Posted by blacharrt (1567 posts) - - Show Bio
@demifiend: I can't give you the exact issue but it was after the twelve, i believe uncanny 380 or so.
#27 Edited by Freefa11 (2382 posts) - - Show Bio
@demifiend: UXM 382. It wasn't actually Phoenix. It wasn't actually Apocalypse either. For that matter, it wasn't actually a fight; the "fight" was inside the head of a guy called Neo, and the X-Men were being exposed to personal nightmarish experiences. Jean's involved Apocalypse. Gambit's involved the Mutant Massacre. Storm's involved claustrophobia, and Beast's involved humanity hating him for his appearance. If Blackharrt posted the whole page instead of just one panel from it, it would be a bit clearer, and even moreso if the previous page or so was included.

Not that it matters, both beat Apoc down, and if he really unleashes, hard.

thor takes this
#31 Posted by doomsummers (761 posts) - - Show Bio
@Freefa11: That shows that Jean feared Apocalypse. Characters usually fear each other because of power.

Overcome Loki?? Who escaped his supposed powerfull celestial tech?? I could also show you a scan of Loki casually slapping down the Thor Corps, that included Beta Ray Bill.

Thor wins fairly easy actually. Apocalypse's showing with his "Pheonix" feat was pis and he prepped before that. With prep, he siphoned the energy of Pheonix to claim the victory. How Thor can win onesay? He is vastly stronger than Apocalypes. The best strength feat I've seen from Apoc was holding Hulk down. Hulk isn't as strong as Thor for obvious reasons during that particular scan. How is Apocalypes going to survive an unrestrained hammer throw to Apoc?

If I recall correctly, that actually happened on the astral plain.

Thor. Its said that Apoc stalemated Loki, who wiped the floor with the Xmen.

Apocalypse  makes thor a horseman

#39 Posted by Freefa11 (2382 posts) - - Show Bio
@theicon: Indeed. Thor rides Apocalypse bareback.
#40 Posted by blacharrt (1567 posts) - - Show Bio
@Freefa11: The Post was to show that the Phoenix fears him, note i didn't mention that they fought in that instance.  But the fact that he was able to over power phoenix and charles X when they were trying to stop him in the Twelve means he is someone to be feared.
But the Scan to be noted is him easily handling the Hulk and She-Hulk with one hand. Which easily melee wise puts him on equal if not greater footing than Thor or Gladiator because neither has been able to do that to the Hulk.

its funny how people write offf apoc on here straight away, hes fought major players and won, this is no stomp in thors favour at all, thor i think will win,but not very easy at all and could even lose a few out of ten. 7/10 thor.
#42 Posted by hydrabob--defunct (14860 posts) - - Show Bio

Loki isn't as great a fighter as Thor and Thor wins this for sure. He out matches him in almost every aspect.

#43 Posted by doomsummers (761 posts) - - Show Bio
@susanoo2: he was never prepped. where are you getting your information from?
#44 Posted by blacharrt (1567 posts) - - Show Bio

The only way i see Thor winning is via plot device of some kind, like in the fight with Phoenix and Cable to free scott, their psychic link was one such plot device to beat him.  Other than that Thor get's owned.

#45 Posted by doomsummers (761 posts) - - Show Bio
@blacharrt: Watch out for susanoo2. He will troll Thor just because he likes him better than he likes Apocalypse.
#46 Posted by blacharrt (1567 posts) - - Show Bio
@doomsummers: I've seen his "debates" with you on several  pages, he's not even on my radar. I have soo much Hulk/thor forum battle experience there is nothing he could say to me that would make me pay attention to him and his rants.

Apocalypse  after a hard fight.................................
#48 Posted by Blood_guts (1311 posts) - - Show Bio

apocalypse. i see thor doing the whole flying behind the hammer thing and slamming into his chest but apocalypse can make himself super dense so he wouldn't move. at the very least it's a draw because i dont know if he has the power output to kill a god
