• Starting distance: 200 feet apart.
• They have a brief conversation before the fight.
• Zauriel is in possession of the flaming sword.
• Thor has his trademark weapon. 
• Who wins this match?

@Nefarious: Nice match up. Sadly, I dont know much about Zauriel other than the basics. What would be some of his higher end feats, in your opinion?

Can't think of Zauriel really fighting anyone but angels with his sonic scream.(Only seen him in JLA) but it should still be pretty harmful to Thor.

Thor would probably come on top though, I don't think Zauriel is the most durable guy out there, but then again I haven't read the JLA run he appears in, in a while so I may be mistaken.

No, the sword didn't belong to micheal. It was a different weapon

@holyserpent: Isn't the Flaming Sword that can cut through anything even the world itself? or that is different because if it's not then Zauriel will win and even if Zauriel has moral holding the flaming sword will channel his anger towards his enemy and if Thor got killed by that he'll just die no afterlife

Thor is WAY more powerful than Zauriel.
