Thor is made of molecules just like everybody else. Which means Manhattan can rip him apart. Thor isn't literally a god, just an alien. So his molecules are just like any other molecules. manhattan can rip an aliens molecules apart because it isn't a matter of physical strength or prowess. I love Thor but I feel he is outclassed. There is nothing Thor can do to hurt Manhattan. Mjolnir would go right through him. lightning would go right through him. and he witnesses time slowed down to a crawl. he experiences every nano second. he is also durable enough to have literally walked across the surface of the sun. Thor is amazing but compared to Manhattan he is nothing.

plus dr manhattan can see any future that involves him. he knows exactly what thor will do before thor even does. and Thor has no known mastery of Tachyons so Thor can't disrupt his visions.

Thor absorbs Manhattan into the hammer ....
