It is hard to say what they will do in character with prep. Do they have info about their enemies?
They know everything about their powers but no their weaknesses.

Thor can take on GL
Nova, assuming its nova prime can take on WW
but hercules gets killed in seconds.
Once hercules dies CM can totally change the battle because if hercules dies faster than GL loses to Thor or WW loses to NOVA , which is how i see it, Cm can either join WW and kill off nova or join GL and kill of thor.

That is the same pretty much.
The point is that, Nova and Hal with prep can make dozen different shields to boost his team. Nova can even give Thor and Herc part of his power (as he did to Quasar once). Then Thor can just drain Hal of his energy. Worldmind would told him to do it. Herc can hold Cap Marvel and Nova can at least hold Wonder Woman. Thor will drain Hal. Then it is 3 on 2 with Thor having one blast with all ring's energy on Cap (since they know that WW can block it).
