@venomoushatred1001: if this was comic book thor , i would go with him , however the EMH Thor ( same as hulk) were depowered in order to let the other guys shine, while the elite seemed very powerful, cold cast made a hole on the moon , MB was still figting without damage until superman cut the organ out of his brain, hat was tossing around demons like birds and the fourth teammate forgot the name ) seemed pretty powerful too, while EMH thor doesn't have that much feats
I haven't seen the Elite movie. Is it good? Im kinda interested in watching it. But Thor from EMH is still pretty powerful. I actually just watched Season 2's last episode where he was pouding hard on Galactus. and if Superman is supposed to fight these guys I dont think this is an easy fight for any side
@TheAcidSkull: I disagree. If anything, Thor was faithfully represented in EMH and he easily displayed so. He wiped out the Skrull ships in Season 2 with absolute ease. Superman defeated the Elite with morals and with little trouble after he let them beat on him temporarily. Thor without morals would wipe them off the map.

@TheAcidSkull: How were Hulk and Thor de-powered? In the episodes that focused around either of them or even in the Pre-series episodes, both of them displayed massive amounts of power. I fail to see how they've been poorly mis-represented.

Yup. This Thor was more powerful than Cartoon Superman. He could beat them worse than Superman did. I swear the head he knocked off of Ultron was Adamantium.
Am I thinking of the issue of Action Comics or did I watch a different "Superman vs. the Elite" movie? Cause he defeated all four but it sure as heck wasn't easy.

Aren't animated versions normally weaker. The Supes vs the Elite film seemed to be one of the few exceptions to the weaker animated versions and if Superman was as slow as Thor then his brains would be oozing out his ears as he had already shown the ability to crush his brains.
@theTimeStreamer: Telepathy was not used in AvsX because it would have ment a win for the P5. I know that sounds silly but if they had temporarily given every Avenger the mind of simple jack they would have won. Telepathy fell under forced forgotten power syndrome because it's should be an auto-win in most cases.

I go with Thor since he'd jump to the beat the s**t out of them option a lot quicker than Superman, Simply put Thor is just plain meaner than Superman and wouldn't hesitate to put them in the morgue if it was necessary.

It was a very good movie. I didn't enjoy the way Superman was styled (his face is a big glob), but the message is clear and solid, and it really makes you appreciate Superman as more than a two-dimensional "boyscout" character.
