The x-men 90s cartoon? Thor solos

Jean has to orgasm to do anything

wolverine cuts nothing but robots

Storm Talks to much before attacking

#7 Posted by Moonchilde (1601 posts) - - Show Bio

Thor should win.

Jean might be a problem, but I don't see anyone else being able to hurt him. Maybe Wolverine if PIS is allowed.

#8 Posted by Dredeuced (5281 posts) - - Show Bio

Team wins because of Rogue. EMH Thor shouldn't be too hard for them to match up with and Rogue's got Ms Marvel's powers and a nasty draining touch.

I don't see anyone surviving the EMH Godblast, Phoenix would wreck him though

#11 Posted by Dextersinister (5675 posts) - - Show Bio

Thor unless there theme songs kicks in, they never lose when that's playing.

#12 Posted by IcePrince_X (4835 posts) - - Show Bio

X-Men.

Iceman, Rogue and Jean Grey may be the key factors while the rest distract Thor.

#13 Edited by Dredeuced (5281 posts) - - Show Bio

@Charlie_Jade: EMH Godblast? I don't think Thor's ever used Godblast in EMH.

That looks like him calling down lightning and shooting it. God blasts usually just look like generic energy beams.

Storm could do that and, presumably, neutralize his lightning by herself.

It's not a matter of strength, Storm should just be able to control and redirect any lightning Thor fires. It'd be like if Thor shot ice out of his hammer while the X-men have Iceman on their team. Sure, his ice may be stronger, but there's literally a dude who controls ice right there.

#18 Edited by Vorzhilok_the_Traumatizer (280 posts) - - Show Bio

Thor throws his hammer from a mile away and it whaps them on the head for a mass K.O before they can blink.

In this fight it is.Storm can create lightning. She can't redirect thors lighting

@TerryBogard2014: She doesn't warp reality to create weather, dude. She controls it. By no means can she "create" lightning, she pulls the clouds from somewhere together to bring the lightning, then directs it to hit what she wants. Thor's lightning is something she can control because it's...lightning, lightning that he summons the exact same way she does, only with a hammer instead of a mutation. She's also aware of Thor's powers (there's a Thor in every marvel universe) so it's not like he could surprise her with it.

#21 Posted by Xanni15 (6758 posts) - - Show Bio

Rogue will get her hands on him in 30 mins or less.

#22 Posted by THUNDERBOLT30 (9875 posts) - - Show Bio

I think the 90's X-Men would take a majority.

Never said anything about warping reality to create lighting.said she creates lighting.yes from the atmosphere but can also generate bioletric lighting from her own body.from the thor page

Weather Control

Wielding Mjolnir, Thor can summon and control the powers of the storm, causing rain, wind, thunder and lightning. With it, Thor has shown the ability to create electrical storms, hurricane winds, tornadoes, tidal waves, blizzards as well as earthquakes that have been shown to run across an entire planet. Thor has the ability to affect the weather on a planetary wide scale but often refrain from doing so from the mass damage that it could cause. Thor is able to stop any of the weather conditions that he creates. Thor’s ability to control the weather has been said to exceed those of beings such as Storm and he has also shown the ability to channel the great energies of the weather into powerful blasts that he can direct through his hammer. It is a very common misconception that Thor is unable to control the weather without his hammer but he indeed can and has been shown to do so on a number of occasions. His hammer allows him to create more powerful manifestations of his weather abilities.

Can you give an instance when storm redirected a being of thors lvs lightning?let alone from the 90s cartoon version?instead of assuming that because there similar shes his equal

#24 Posted by Moonchilde (1601 posts) - - Show Bio

@Dredeuced: Thor's lightning is magic, it's highly unlikely that Storm would be able to do anything about it. It's more likely that he would be able to shut her down.

Storm being able to counter Thor's abilities is debatable to say the least, and she may not be able to. Their powers are simliar but very different. Thor's weather manifestations are all magical and are not reliant or will have consequential effects on the planet, and are much more powerful than Storm's. His abilities do not require the use of the atmosphere's elemental forces to generate weather effects. Storm does. She has to have the materials needed to create her weather effects available to her and pulls them from the atmospehre around the planet, and she needs to maintain her effects within the natural limits of the planet since her she can do damage to the earth's biosphere if she doesn't.

She does create lightning and doesn't need clouds to do so (can pull electricity right out of the air if she chooses). She has countered the lightning and other elemental assaults of lesser beings. She did defeat the Trion (dimension level elemental beings from another dimension) but there is no proof at this point that she could successfully counter Thor's weather manipulation.

I agree that Storm may not be able to counter Thor's weather powers but that is on the fact that he is a vastly powerful God, and not because his lightning is mystical in nature. She has overpowered and took control of Shaman's magical blizzard and was able to manipulate a magical hurricane in one of the 9 circiles of hell.

Thor wins No one on team one could take him let alone "solo"

#28 Posted by IcePrince_X (4835 posts) - - Show Bio

Rogue can possibly solo this...she has nearly leveled the entire Avengers team, in which she got to touch and absorbs thor's power.

@IcePrince_X: When and it is obviously PIS... Thor could just hammer throw = dead.

How will he put down a morals off Iceman?

Thor was able to effortlessly one-shot a guy who could lift the statue of liberty. He owns here.

Avenger's Annual 10.

It is not, PIS Rogue is one lethal mutant if she wants to be...like how Mystique was training her but Rogue has more humanity in her that is why she looked for help.

Also her encounter in Avenger's Annual actually had an off shoot What If episode where in she literally absorbed Thor's powers and psyche. So I guess, Rogue can really take down Thor.

#35 Posted by Pyrogram (34313 posts) - - Show Bio

@IcePrince_X: Not comic feats, show feats old... Or is it an episode? And it had to be PIS, Thor would not allow her to touch him if he just flys

#36 Edited by IcePrince_X (4835 posts) - - Show Bio

Sorry thought this was the comic version during the 90s...not the cartoon version.

Cartoon version is less powerful than their comic book counterpart except may be Rogue and Bishop

What if's are completely uncanon and are not valid for debates ever.

@Pyrogram: How does flying help? 90x X-men Rogue has Ms Marvel's flight, strength and speed.

#40 Posted by Pyrogram (34313 posts) - - Show Bio

@Dredeuced: She does not have it as standard. In this fight she has standard powers. No other peoples.

#41 Posted by Dredeuced (5281 posts) - - Show Bio

@Pyrogram: It's pretty funny to say that she doesn't have that standard when she had it for, I'm pretty sure, the entire series from episode one on.

#42 Posted by Moonchilde (1601 posts) - - Show Bio

@Pyrogram: It was standard powers for early 90's Rogue. Rogue actually could potentially beat Thor, if she were able to get a hold of him long enough. I see that as a very unlikely if. At that time Rogue was a 50 tonner. Thor is still a "to big a number for Marvel to try to explain" tonner, so he should still be able to one-shot her before she gets close enough to try to drain him.
