@bluepride1234: Fairly easily, yes.

Thor is more than fast enough to grab Lobo and throw him into orbit, before Lobo can retaliate. While Lobo is both strong and durable(if nothing else then due to his regen.) enough to go toe to toe with Thor in a brawl, Lobo has never really shown himself to be a speedster of any kind.

Once Lobo is floating around in orbit, Thor has plenty of time to open a portal that he can punt Lobo through.

Lobo gets his bike and gets back onto Earth.

He is not shown as a speedster, but BFR is not the one excuse people can use to defeat Lobo.

He definitely has superspeed, but to what degree is debatable. Speed is hard to depict in sequential art.

Morals On: Team 2 might take this, Thor will be the weak link I think. He'll try and take Lobo on head on like he does Hulk on occasion. Though it'll be a tough fight, I think many people are taking Silver Surfer's cosmic awareness too lightly. But again, even with it I don't think Team 2 could necessarily take this. I'm going Team 1 7/10.

Bloodlusted: I'm inclined to say Team 1. I'm thinking Silver Surfer and Thor not holding back might be a force to be reckoned with. They'll probably have to take turns keeping Lobo busy and using massive energy blasts to blow him apart (they have to take turns because he WILL regenerate from a drop of blood), but I think if they can get Despero down (Silver Surfer's cosmic awareness should help them understand what to avoid and when to attack, something the JLA was not blessed with), then Lobo will be a walk in the park. Again, it won't be a stomp, it'd be 5.5 out of 10 or 6 out of 10 if they can take the majority.

Lobo has blitzed Superman so he couldn't react and you think Thor is faster???

I'm a Thor fan, but COME ON.

Thor could BFR Lobo with the use of Mjilnor, but he rarely does that in character.

He's only likely to do that if he believes an enemy physically Superior, otherwise he's fight it out with them as a point of honor.

Can I ask all these people who Say SS transforms Despero into anything, how they think he's going to do that to a superior matter manipulator. If this was Despero without the Flame of Py'tar there might be a chance of that. As i've asked teh question and OP says he has it than he's above SS in energy and Matter manip. I'd say team 2 wins round one because in character Thor fights with honor and a warriors pride. Round 2 goes to team 1 as he'll bring the full power of Mjilnor to bear and that will tip the odds their way.

There is NO way that Surfer can solo a team that includes Despero (especially with the Flame of Py'tar) Despero is stronger than Superman and has soled Superman, Captain marvel, Wonderwoman and Powergirl simultaneously in physical battle. he is a powerful psionic who has mind raped some of the most powerful TPers in DC. He can destroy minds with his mind fire. He can tank Superman's best blows and regenerates even from decapitation. Finally with the Flame of Py'tar he is an energy and matter maipulator of high order and a low level reality warper.He made buildings turn into dragons to fight for him. Remember this is a guy who regularly solos Superman, Green Lantern, Martian manhunter, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, etc.

How exactly would Surfer go about resisting Despero's possession?

answer=i doubt despero can possess him in the 1st place. ss tp powers are too good.

I'd be surprised if Despero possessed the Surfer, the Power Cosmic lets him fight people off essentially reality warping him / his mind. As well as make himself into a powerhouse when on the Astral Plane.
