The empathy spell should be fine by the rules considering mind control is allowed, just remember that a telepath can potentially stop it

@jokergeist: @dextersinister: Galbatorix and all his Eldunari couldn't. I don't see another telepath avoiding this. Unless he isn't an top-notch a$$hole, that is.

Also, if I use the Name of Names for nothing more than to remove\alter magic (as in defensive purposes only), will it be allowed?

@the_red_viper: I'm not sure how powerful that would be but since there is a cap on telepathic power it wouldn't be allowed.

I horribly dislike nerfing characters and being able to outright stop magic is too powerful for street level+.

• My initial problem with the Empathy Spell was that it has no counter. It's basically the same as offensive telepathy, but even telepathy can be countered by another telepath. Magic is unpredictable.
• Name of Names Spell seems pretty sketchy. I think defensive-only should be fine....maybe.

Now that you mention I do have a perfect Star wars mastermind available his name: Blackhole. He would be very useful for that slot. Gokudera sounds perfect as the scout.

What about the Wildcard and Leader?

How much time might one have to find a partner and build a team?

Ummm...I'm drawing a blank for wildcard but for Leader how about Mukuro or Xanxus

2 European vampires(American Vampire)

You must choose two classes of minions. For example choose (1) SHIELD Agents and (2) US Marines.

I can't use the empathy spell, the deathwords or any offensive use of the Name of Names (I can still use it for other stuff).

Other than that, I have 1 Eldunari (trying to decide Glaedr, Umaroth or Valdr) and it's game on.

Oh, and @jokergeist, if strictly and I win round 1, can I take a different Eldunari for round 2?

An Eldunari is the "heart of hearts" of a dragon. It's basically a rock-like object that contains a dragon's consciousness and power after the dragon dies. Eragon can communicate with the dragon telepathically and can use the Eldunari's energy to power his spells. The Eldunari itself can use telepathy and magic as well. So my question is, can I take Eldunaris that belong to different dragons in different rounds in the tournament?

The Name of Names? Eragon can use it to remove and alter any magic he wants. Other than that it grants him knowledge of any and all spells ever casted in the ancient language and he can use it to search for people or items. It has other offensive traits but that's irrelevant now.

@the_red_viper: That sounds way to open ended of a power and if he needs to be altered that much he shouldn't be in this. Magic is also a huge subset of characters including some of mine and being able to just shut them down with no resistance isn't on this level, there's also a thread where people give him a win over the Hulk.

It seems like to much of a pain and he was already removed before so I really recommend changing him now before trouble starts during a match

The thread with The Hulk is a thread that I made, and in this thread he has nearly 150 Eldunari, which means craploads of power, a lot more than he has in this tourney. But he might indeed be problematic, I'm trying to think of another champion that'd be a good match for the other champions.

@jokergeist: I'd recommend you just let people pick and then we can over characters in another thread.

I'd also recommend adding hax powers such as technopathy and pre-cog to the list and mention that if a minion can blitz a well trained soldier there over the limit.

@the_red_viper: Miles Morales is a great pick if you like the character.

My champion was taken from Floopay and I'm still fiquring out what he can do.

@dextersinister: I'm really no expert on Spiderman-ish characters. I'm searching for ideas right now. I've considered The Talon (Calvin) and Midnighter.

Yeah, lol... Jonah Hex is also an option.

@jokergeist: Not all. I'd think freezing, flame, energy, water, or really just about any type of elemental attack would have an effect. Floopay did approve of him, and I don't think he breaks the rules in any way.

Lots of people said that, Floopay never approved or disaproved of any characters, he added everything and left it for everyone else or the rules to sort out.

Well I don't see any *standard* Gantanzers being to high, but if we're talking about hard suit,mechs,(Sakurai and Master), and the villain then yea that too high for this.

Pretty much, yeah. That would be Glaedr's Eldunari. But it's not the most powerful one, that'd be either Umaroth or Valdr. But! If Eragon would be too problematic, I may change him to The Chosen Undead from Dark Souls. Would he be OK?
