Classic Wendigo > Classic Thing... by a lot. Fact. Hate it, but Fact. Currently though, Thing is on par with or maybe even slightly above Wendigo.

So by classic version, we are talking about the Thing and Wendigo as shown in the 70's and 80's ? Back when the Thing was rated at 85 tonnes strength and Wendigo was capable of fighting an enraged Hulk for hours.

Must be. Because CLASSIC Thing, like WAY back in the day was only at 5 tons, and this would be a spite thread.

Agreed. Classic Wendigo was immortal, and had 100+ ton strength. Ben Grimm was only 75+ tons Classically, then up-graded to 85+ tons Classically. Not until the last decade or so has Ben Grimm been a 90+ tonner, and more recently a 100+ tonner (finally!)... Current Wendigo doesn't seem to be immortal. He/They have been killed numerously over the last decade or so (Sabretooth killed one, Namor killed SEVERAL, ect.)...

Now, CLASSIC Wendigo versus CURRENT Thing is a fight I would LOVE to see! ;)

Ben stomps in both scenarios.

Wendigo for round 1. His claws proved capable of cutting the Hulk and both his strength and durability appeared greater than the Things. Added to that that this is is also in an environment where the Thing will get no benefits, and Wendigo wins. In the Baxter Building, the Thing can use equipment to gain a win, like the portal to the negative zone for a BFR.
