Thing vs. Colossus

That's right, both from Marvel 616 in Olympic Wrestling, with an arena the size of a football field, so there's little chance of ring-out. A pure contest of strength. Who wins?

Hmmm......I believe that Colossus has greater durability. So in a straight out fight, he'd be the one standing last from the blows being thrown.

It's a question of steel vs. rock, which of course depends on the type of steel or rock. Judging from the comics, the Thing looks to be pretty dense and scratchy.

I like Colossus more, but I think the Thing would win.

colossus... he's russian so could be trained in sambo

I heard he is Asian and trained in shoalin praying mantis.

Yeah. I knew that just in a straight up brawl, Colossus would win, but that wasn't what I wanted to know. Who was just stronger...I'm going with the Thing...

What does skin toughness have to do with a WRESTLING match. They are competing in Olympic wrestling, that means no punching and no kicking skin resistance plays absolutely no role.

wasnt the thing a wrestler in school? i thought that was one of his sports.

I love Peter but Ben is an expert in wrestling and boxing so Thing takes it.

I think Colosuss,would give the thing a good fight.But the thing went three rounds with Champion,and Peter didn`t last one.So he just don`t have the experience that Ben has but great question!

I would give it to Colossus. He is stronger, quicker and arguably more skilled.

Who decided the thing was weaker than colossus,I think they are around equal.Neither is clearly on Thor or Hulk level!

Why haven't they thrown down at some point? It's been a running battle for as long as I can remember, but no writer has gotten the two together. (I don't count the silly AvX vs mini. That thing stunk out loud.)

I think Colossus wins, considering the fact that Colossus is a 100 Tonner and at most The Thing is a 85 Tonner.
