Both of which lose to the Hulk on most occasions. But pinned up against each other who would win?

So you think Abomination is going to win? I think the Thing is going to come out on top.

Abom is like 4 times stronger and has Soviet spy training. I think that qualifies as an advantage.

They both lift 100 tons. So they are equally as strong. Abomination has regenerative healing factor, but the Thing is much more invulnerable which compensates for that. They both are skilled hand-to-hand combatants and thats why I think it would be a good battle.

The Abomination nearly beat hulk to death on two occasions. In his first appearance he kicked hulk's sorry ass before you could say "I'm screwed" in his last appearance he was very close to beating hulk to death. I don't think the thing can match that.

Has the thing killed someone of hulk's level in the span of less than two pages?

He's a good guy. Good guys arent ones who tend to kill their opponents, they try to subdue them and like lock them up and crap like that.

How did the fight where A-bomb almost killed Hulk go? I havent read it.

He hit the hulk on the neck so hard that his spinal cord most likely shattered. The second time I don't quite remember but I think it was less instantaneous.

So the first one was before Hulk even reached A-bomb's strength level?

It was before banner was revived by gamma electrodes and then invented something that cut Abom's strength in half though the galaxy master restored it to it's former level. It was the worst plot device in history. I wish hulk stayed dead and Abom got his own title.

Yeah, Abomination is pretty cool, but the Thing isn't going to get his spinal cord broken by one of Abominations punches in the neck, first of all because he doesnt have a neck, and second of all because he's more invulnerable than that.

The Abomination was originally pitched at being stronger than the Thing (100 tonnes vs 85 tonnes). I know that the Thing has gone up in strength since then due to further mutations but so has the Abomination in all likelyhood.

The Abomination is a s durable as the Hulk which means that he is harder to hurt than the Thing and potentially has a regenerative factor on top of that.

The Thing however appears to be a better fighter.

Overall, I think that the Abomination would win through but it would be close.

Colt Python says:

"I wonder how much it takes to damage the Thing.I mean what rocky substance is he actually made out of.While agree Abominaton is super tough whatever the Thing is made of is the factor. The Hulk could probably beat the Thing based on what I saw him do to Colossus, but the Abomination is weaker than that so I don't know about this one."

The rocky epidermus is actually like super tough skin - organic material that the Thing grows.

As for how tough it is - he can withstand anti-tank weaponry, but it would do some damage.

The Abomination on the otherhand can withstand much larger forces and temperatures without harm.

Abomination seems to be tougher. Thing's skin is pretty strong, but once it's damaged he can't heal the way Abom can. Abomination wins.

Abomination seems stronger, faster, and more durable. He gains my vote.
