If Batman can solo the Justice League, he can beat Witch King
Appearently the Witch King solos justice leauge. According to these LOTR fanatics.
@Batman242:
He's in a different universe here, different mythology, so that logic doesn't work sometimes. And OP said they are in the black gates.
IMO, that prep thing isn't really needed. As the book states and Witch King himself, "NO MAN CAN KILL ME". And the books proved that.
So Bruce ain't winning.

Batman is a man, so technically, he won't win.
And in 2 hours prep, he can't have sex change.
Not true. First off, it's not a gender thing. As I explain on these boards all the time, Man is a race in LOTRs. There are male Men and female Men. The Witch King was killed by a Hobbit, Merry specifically, not Eowyn. The scene that shows otherwise from the movie is a mistake, a misinterpretation of the scene by Peter Jackson. Merry killed him by stabbing him in the foot with his blade of Westernesse, a dagger that was made when Arnor was at war with Angmar. Every blade made during that time was given this enchantment designed to kill the Witch King instantly. In the books, the Witch King was clearly dead before Eowyn stabbed him through the vizor. She even complains about it later to Aragorn in the chapter, "The Last Debate".
Either way, this isn't some kind of immunity. It's just a prophecy. The Witch King was fated to not die at the hands of Man, because his fate was to be slain by a Hobbit. The only thing this prophecy did was make the Witch King fearless, because he knew he was going to win any fight against a Man.
Anywho, on topic. I want to say Batman wins this, but I don't know of any simple way he can defeat the Witch King. He's gonna need to do something with magic during his two hours of prep, because tech isn't going to help much against the Witch King. Especially since Batman could die just from getting near him. He's gonna need magical defenses to deal with the dread, and he's gonna need something designed to hurt wraiths.
Now i see prep is batman can use anything within his resources? So he goes borrows a ring from the green lantern core and because bruce has a great mind he uses it and traps the witchking
@hulkbuster94: lol BS, 1. ring doesn't protect against magic based attacks at all, 2. thats like saying Batman should just get in an Ironman suit and solo the whole of LOTR, its assumed from his own equipment OP didn't mention any equipment, i.e. lantern ring.
Along the line of prep, if you call lantern ring Witch King gets the one ring, which is the most powerful magic ring in LOTR, and he becomes sauron-like, or he could use it for stealth, since either doesn't know what to exactly prep for, batman wouldn't come with ant-stealth equipment
@orician_seis: Why not, that is what the battle forum is for. People put whoever and whatever they want to against each other.
Batman
Batman should win.
Batman due to prep.
These.
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: hardly, batman can't tank magic
@jmarshmallow: hardly, batman can't tank magic
You were saying?
Jmarshmallow
@jmarshmallow: By magic I was referring body smashing hits, or words of death
Also batman is not immortal, or invincible if Toxic really wanted to end his life with magic he could have done so, I'm calling plot device on that just so Toxic could monologue, plus thats hardly the magic I am referring to, looked more like a taser to me bro lol.
< this sort of magic batman can't tank, the magic that breaks your body and can be imbued in weapons easily.
NO MAN CAN SLAY THE WITCH KING. ( man in Tolkien world is human)
I wish this wasn't spite. The OP is in the witch kings favor because it requires death. I think bats would have given an amazing fight but witch king will morgul blade him eventually and then what? Then what...unless batman preps by bringing magic item... So maybe not spite. Still he is man.
