The Thing vs Kilowog

Who wins?

Round 1: No rings. Pure hand-to-hand. Win by death or KO.

Round 2: Kilowog gets a Green Lantern ring, but can only use close range attacks.

The Thing has enough strength to lift over 100 tons an' slug it out with the likes of Hulk. His rock-like skin is also nearly impenetrable, an' it can withstand attacks from powerhouses like Hulk, Red Hulk an' Juggernaut (as much as I love Thing though I gotta admit, he got trashed quite easly by Juggy). He can also physically exert himself for 24 hours before gettin' tired (also Thing's will is probably about equal to Kilowog's too). He's also very skilled in boxin', wrestlin', street fightin', brawlin', judo an' jiu-jiutsu.

Kilowog is a high-tier Green Lantern. He is physically superior to almost every Green Lantern. He has enough size, strength/power an' durability to beat Arkillo, an' he's also beaten Superman (though he had two power rings, an' he was bein' mind controlled). He's strong enough to lift about 100 tons, an' he's also very skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

These two are nearly equal in size, strength, raw power, durability an' willpower. Who wins?

I dont know how strong Kilowog is without his ring but I never got the impression he is on Thing's level, either way Thing should have more experience using his strength, just as Kilowog has more experience with a ring. So Thing takes round 1 and Kilowog gets round 2.

Round 1: Spite Thing stomps. Without the Ring he has no powers and had problems with Hal Jordan without his Ring

Round 2: Spite Kilowog stomps and this is against the Rules. What would Thing even do with the Ring and he'd be a noob

Also I didn't know that was against the rules I just thought it'd suit Thing since he has like an iron forged will but ah well my mistake.

Example: "However, giving people like Hulk the Power Cosmic or people like Nightwing a Green Lantern ring is unacceptable because neither character has displayed the skill and/or competence to use such weapons/items."

Apparently it was PIS and the equivalent of the Batman and Superman New 52 fight when Batman was on venom. He suppose to be a 75 tonner according to the wiki and the comicvine and with the Ring he beat Superman.

Kilowog. Thing is a great fighter, but Kilo seems at least as skilled and much more ruthless. I think Ben's big heart would get in the way in a fight like this. I don't see Kilowog having any qualms with going for the kill if need be.

Round 1: 50/50...maybe slightly toward Thing due to his rock hard skin.

Round 2: Kilowog, no contest.

I don't recall Killowog being that strong but any battle with a ring has to go to him. Otherwise my money is on Ben.

Round one: Thing ( it takes a LOT more than being in Ben's weight class to actually beat him, and Kilowogg has not exhibited sufficient H2H proficiency to make me think he can take Ben.

Round Two: Kilowogg...the ring is simply too formidable to overcome
