Yeah prep time would be needed for Rambo and The Punisher. Especially if the Terminator was sent back to kill them. Terminator would first get some guns and then look for them. They would need to know who The Terminator was is too. Cause how would they know who it was until he pulled his cannons out to fire ?

unless rambo and castle have prep or are carrying some kind of super weapon when the terminator shows up they lose since i doubt either has a steel mill handy lol

Baring in mind the only person to beat a terminator without special weaponry in any movie is another terminator , and the people who do beat terminators are well versed in what there upagainst .

@Retnex: one human rebel who has years of practise and knows there weaknesses , and a women who was running away and pressed a button in a comprssor which neither rambo or castle has lol

Depends on what verion it is. If its the one from Terminator Salvation then they are DEAD. If its the one from T1 and T2 they could take it down easy with some heavy weapons. No need to even run from it. A primitive shotgun could disable him for some seconds ...

The terminator was stronger from movie to movie and in Salvation he was just overpowered.

Compared to a special forces Vietnam vet and a ex marine who have an array of weapons and training, I think its a safe bet. Idk, maybe I'm just saying that cause my dad was a special forces marine, lol

@Retnex: the resistance fighters are there day marines they are versed with several weapons and are used to fighting tougher than human opponents. While rambo and castle are skilled fighters they have never come up against a terminator and arent aware of its programing where as the resistnace know whow to trick and avoid them better, iam not convinced that they could do it without prep and prior knowledge of the terminator.

Wrong. They knew it's weaknesses and what it could take. Punisher and Rambo don't.

If its just a robot (a strong one, but still), what other weaknesses could it have? The Punisher and Rambo should have more than enough fire power to stop it.

A civilization-destroyed earth probably isn't as well structered, so it probably doesn't have as many military training resources. True, a rebel would know more about the Terminator, but Reese really only used this information to avoide being found, not to attack. When he did attack, he just shot at the Terminator with what he had, or tried to blow it up. Pretty much what the Punisher and Rambo are good at. Besides, the Terminator is just a robot. Rambo might not have any ideas, but the Punisher could tactically destroy it with his "super human" assault power.
