@leo-343: Forgive me, I was just thinking Assassin's Creed 2. Wasn't thinking of the other two but fair enough. However, 50+ years (30-40 of actual combat years) still doesn't compare to 140+ years (of actual combat experience).
The Sword-Fight: Ezio Auditore vs Ra's al Ghul (Arrow)
@captain_batman_ftw: Saying that I have a lot of holes, and proving it, are two very different things my friend.
@fetts: No, I am going to make a post. I just said that as something you say before making your post. Like after I've analyzed it, but not countered it yet. Don't take it the wrong way. ;)
Hey @monsterstomp,I call on behalf of Ezio!Not Arrow!
Eh, I'll get back to this.
@nickzambuto: I'm calm. Yes, I can do a CaV with you. Can you set up the OP, and also put in that Ezio's feats from the novels are allowed?
Why would you do a CaV? Lol. Battle is right here. Plus Nickz can't hold a CaV XD
@monsterstomp: I know that we can just debate here, but Nick beefed me.
@captain_batman_ftw: I'm more interested in Arrow vs Ezio's, not Ra's vs Ezio. That's why we should make a CaV, which I will do in just a little bit.
@nickzambuto: @nickzambuto: Ok, and tag me when you've made the match clear. Thanks.

Ezio's memories were used to train modern day assassins.
@captain_batman_ftw: … Ok?
@leo-343 Over a century of experience is a feat. The word "feat" is another word for accomplishment. Having over a century's worth of fighting experience is something that would be considered an accomplishment. And personally, I find Ra's beating eight or so LoA members far more impressive than Ezio has done (that I know of). Like I said, the guards in that universe were extremely pathetic and weren't able to handle Ezio when he had no sword training in the slightest. Honestly, I'd say it'd take a feat of Ezio killing a hundred guards all at once and single-handedly in order to compare with Ra's' aforementioned feat.
@monsterstomp Would you care to clarify your point a little more?
@fetts: Heeeeeeell no.
Na. Its just been a consistent thing on the Vine where apparently modernized style of combat is superior than combat back in the Middle-Ages or Renaissance eras thereabouts. In Assassin's Creed lore, the Templars and Assassins train via 'Bleeding Effect' which is basically a consequence of using the Animus (a device that is used to revisit the memories of an ancestor) for too long. The ancestors skillset, years of combat experience and whatnot are transferred into the muscle memory of the Animus users.
Ezio was literally used to train Desmond via the 'bleeding effect'. Desmond was able to use that acquired skillset to combat modern Templars. I wouldn't say Ezio's style is up-to-date with the modern era, but it sure as hell is more than competent enough.
A few that comes to mind: Taking on 10+ fodder multiple times over. Besting his trainer in swordsmanship after a few weeks of training. Beating Cesare after regaining consciousness from a fatal cannonball ricochet. Moving as swiftly as he does while out of his prime.
Ezio
